When the hell did everyone get so down on Marion Barber?

Barber's personality is similar to his running style -- straightforward without any flash. But I figured a guy who just got a $12 million signing bonus would treat himself to at least one major purchase.

Nobodies getting down on him or thinking he wont earn his money its just theres gonna be higher expectations in my opinion. He'll still be our Barbarian

If the Cowboys are winning and he's still banging in the TD's I wouldn't be too worried about his total yards, just a healthy YPR.

Jones & Choice taking it up to the opposing 30 and MBIII driving it home sounds good to me. I could live with him having 50 yards a game then.

Why is everyone talking about 1200 yards (75 yards game) like it is the measuring stick for Barber this year? In the past a good back was supposed to get 100 yards per game -- that would be 1600 yards per season, not counting playoffs.

If Barber is paid like an elite back, I think the fans should expect that he will carry the ball more this year and get more yards than in the past. And Felix will get his carries as well....the team can become more balanced and not throw as much as they did last year. Get back to road grating blocking and a lot more running...

he had 900 yards I kno the TD's range for each RB but still. I want LT numbers.

Then go pay for LT numbers.

Comparing a contract from 4 years ago to the deal that Barber signed just doesn't work.
