Cool. Next job change, just move to Texas and it won't be a problem. :)

Now that I think about it, Texas should make a law that only Cowboys fan can move here...
Haha for sure, Packer and Steeler fans don't necessarily "travel well".....They all moved to Texas and live in Frisco or Keller

I would like to eventually write that book...I just haven't figured out about what yet...

Maybe a screenplay for Office Space 2 based on own company experiences. We could all throw in some antidotes for you to include. :):)

I rented a room in my house to my buddy that was a Steelers fan. This was back at the time of the Cowboys-Steelers Super Bowl in 95. His sister-in-law jumped in my pool after losing a bet. IIRC it was 30 something degrees outside.

Your preaching to the choir, brother.

I know I am worth more. The problem is I have no certification for my IT knowledge and I didn't finish college so I don't have the degree.

But my managers definitely know what they have because like I said every day it's something different for me. I'm one of their top guys on the phone (hence me also doing call quality work); I have IT experience but only because the various companies I've worked for used me in the capacity after hiring me for something completely different; I'm proficient in just about any software made by Microsoft...I'm almost 40, so I have alot of experience in a lot of different things, but when it comes to things hiring managers look for, I'm a tough sale...especially when trying to actually get paid what I'm worth.

I have a phone interview on Monday for an internal position that would be a better use of my talents and pay closer to my value so wish me good luck!
I wish you all the luck in the entire world. I would love the **** out of you, as a manager, if you were bringing what you say you bring.

You would be making me so much money... Now think about that: You're bringing other people a tone of money... off of your effort.
You need to be in management brother. Time to talk to peeps about moving up. I did and I was completely unqualified. Time for a 42,000 a year job PLUS bonuses.

You could use Zoners as characters.

Remind you of anyone around here?

The funny thing is I had that job in my early twenties but I threw it away because I met the girl that would turn into my current wife of 12 years. I was making 40k plus, which at the time was alot more than what 40k plus is today, and they wanted me to devote more time to it. Trouble was I met this girl that I was trying to spend my every waking moment with. So as fate would have it they let me go. Now we have 2 kids; what was I thinking? :muttley:

Likewise good sir!
My ish is garbage. I'm just trying to convince a small group of individuals that there are a large number of people out there that can make product so much better with some fresh, talented, minds.
Unfortunately, these things are tough, especially when the properties and people in question are already making money off of a tried and true method.

That is a difficult position to be in. People by nature resist change...it's automatic. So to combat that resistance, you have to make them love you...plain and simple. Because if they love you they won't want to disappoint you. As crazy as that sounds, it happens unconscious to them. So my first rule of selling is to make them love me over the phone. My second rule of selling is my voice inflection is my body language, so sometimes you have to oversell to get the point across in the intended way and to keep them on the phone wanting to listen to me. The third rule of selling is to absolutely from the moment you pick up the phone align your conversation to the fact that they are buying today...from you...this conversation...that is what is happening next. For me it works. In 4 to 5 hours of phone work Monday thru Friday in the month of July I sold over 62k and that was a bad month for me.
