So I have been off for 2 months and just started a new job...My Contracts team consist of 3 people (1 boss and 1 co-worker)total...when I start a new job ...I never ask "WHOSE YOUR TEAM" I just assume most are Commander fans.....

Turns out my new boss and my new coworker are both Cowboys Fans.....

My Boss walked in my cube and said..."I seen Dak on your phone, I know your allegiance, make sure you leave at 4 to get home to enjoy the game"

I then asked him "HIS TEAM" and he said YOUR TEAM IS MY TEAM

This new job is turning out to be GREAT.

Moderators please move if i placed this in the wrong section. Thank You

Thanks for sharing. Congratz on your new job!

That is a difficult position to be in. People by nature resist change...it's automatic. So to combat that resistance, you have to make them love you...plain and simple. Because if they love you they won't want to disappoint you. As crazy as that sounds, it happens unconscious to them. So my first rule of selling is to make them love me over the phone. My second rule of selling is my voice inflection is my body language, so sometimes you have to oversell to get the point across in the intended way and to keep them on the phone wanting to listen to me. The third rule of selling is to absolutely from the moment you pick up the phone align your conversation to the fact that they are buying today...from you...this conversation...that is what is happening next. For me it works. In 4 to 5 hours of phone work Monday thru Friday in the month of July I sold over 62k and that was a bad month for me.
You are absolutely right. I, and my partner, are trying our best to endear ourselves and show our value to these studios.
We took a big hit, with my absence, but a foothold was able to be garnered.

Now? The Ingratiating and showing of value continues. Nothing is going to happen, for now, til I make someone money, but someone also has to commit the money for me to be able to gather profit for them.
It's a difficult thing to explain in detail and I don't want to explain it publicly.
