If someone could post it, please. I just saw it flashed on ESPN. They have Mack going #1 overall and Clowney #3. I think it's a certainty that Mack and Clowney will be gone by #16. But he has Barr falling out of the top 10. I didn't see the whole draft, just the top 10, so I don't know where he has Barr going. But I think there's a good chance (maybe 25%) that Barr is available at #16.

Thanks for posting. I was hoping Barr would fall a little more but I'd trade up 3-4 spots for Barr or Donald. Those are the only guys I consider instant contributors. I like Dee Ford but I wouldn't depend on him to have a huge impact in his first year.

I would hate that pick. If this happens I would try and trade back a few times and add more picks.

I agree. It would suck for Barr and Donald to be off the board. The only guys I would feel confident about drafting at #16 are Mack/CLowney/Barr/Donald.

I'd be okay with Jernigan if we sign Melton. Otherwise, I'd be highly disappointed.

I think I'm higher on Jernigan than most. He checks a lot of boxes -- was productive in a competitive conference, has solid measurables, can play multiple positions on the line. He's not as "sexy" as Donald, but I think he is safer and a great piece to build around.

If Woodley signs with Tennessee then they won't take Barr. They may go Lewan or Martin with Dave Stewart retiring yesterday.

I just don't understand these "draft experts" putting Jernigan to Dallas. Marinelli skipped on Floyd and Jernigan isn't any better.

How many times does he has to say he likes pass rushing and quick twitch players. Jernigan is not a 1 tech in Marinelli scheme and Marinelli also said he doesn't draft 1 tech in the 1st round.

We aren't going to draft Jernigan

This board's perception (and general use of the term really) of a "3 tech" has gone pretty far from reality. Seems like a player has to be less than 295, run a sub 4.9 40 and have huge college sacks #'s or said player automatically shouldn't even be considered for the Cowboys. Its gotten out of hand really.

I think Jernigan has a higher ceiling than Donald. One guy is supposedly the perfect 3-tech, but Jernigan is a baller who will be successful.

i'd have no problem with jernigan if donald is gone

my preference would be to trade down to mid 20s if i could
the next DL is not picked until #27 (ford) so in a trade down, there is a very realistic possibility that jernigan and hagemann and tuitt would still all be available

I don't mind the Jernigan pick especially if the draft pans out this way & Jernigan comes in with something to prove. I've watched the kid play inthe ACC and believe the kid can play and play well at the next level. Alot of people are caught up on Donald but Jernigan is nothing to frown upon either.

I'm with you, I'm a big Hageman fan so trading down for extra picks would a huge win in my book. I'm just tired of reading that really talented DT's somehow don't fit our scheme. If Jernigan isn't a 3 tech who else in this draft besides Donald is?

agreed
jernigan has all the talent in the world, the only slight question mark is effort
if marinelli can turn JAGs into NFL players why cant he coach someone with real talent to be disruptive?

My problem with Jernigan is how slow he is off the line. Marinelli likes quick fast of the line rushman. Jernigan is a 1 tech in this scheme. Also Marinelli likes someone with pass rushing moves. Jernigan lacks there. He is a good player and think he fits the bears now more than Donald does now.

Bears are moving away from the Tampa 2

Who else in this draft is a 3 tech then? Besides Aaron Donald

I don't think it is necessarily that they don't like Jernigan. It's that they do not like him at 16 (or even drafting a 1-tech in the 1st round). That is my understanding.

Sutton, Easley, and Quarles played the 3 at South carolina. I want Donald but if he isn't there I'm not going to reach and settle on Jernigan. Marinelli, Jerry and Stephen all said you don't take a 1 tech in the 1st. Jernigan is a 1 tech in this scheme
