This. You can’t leave it in the players hand. He just had his brain broken.
brain broken? bit of hyperbole

I’m Wondering if it actually increases the impact
Yea they forced Tua to playProbably pretty good. They did Tua wrong. He didn't pass that evaluation and the league neuro doc pushed him through anyway.

Umm.. I have a spinal injury and I didn't shake my head. I fell to the ground and grabbed my back as my head bounced off the ground. Tua gave every indication of a head injury. If you ever had a spinal issue. That’s exactly how you act. I don’t think one had anything to do with the other , but I wasn’t there . Because either explanation works you just don’t know the truth
I cued it up so you can just hit play.
AgreedWell, that was an exact quote of the day when he announced his retirement at his news conference. We are probably both right.
Not really. If he'd said it was severely damaged, I'd call it hyperbole. But while "brain broken" is an unusual way to put it, it's not totally inaccurate.brain broken? bit of hyperbole
The new turf, at least on the HS fields around me feel like mattresses compared to real grass or old turf I played on. Running on them feels weird since there is a good bit of give in the fake grass "carpeting". Given I have not been tackled on it but it is weird sensation if you are used running on "hard" surfaces like packed dirt or concrete.Every player who has ever played has complained about artificial turf, how hard it is, concrete base. Most of them say that outside of concussions, they are twice as sore after a game on turf, even their feet and ankles hurt. We’ve seen more concussions from heads hitting the turf than from player collisions, not to mention all the blown out knees.
The only reason turf is so prevalent is because of all the outside events that owners can host that couldn’t happen because real grass wouldn’t hold up to it. Greed is always the foundation of everything the league does.
So they're going to be knocked woozy but immediately have the sense of mind to fake a different injury so they can stay on the field?
I doubt it. If you are that aware then you're not in a compromised mental state.
