looking at those I doubt I be able to get AT&T to pony up the same dough they gave Jerry. Unless I went to one of those high end TV tatoo people.
Oh well, just another pipe dream of mine crashing down.

Maybe if you used reflective ink so it looked lit up at night like the stadium?

Can you even see that from the ground?

Yes, I can see the letters from my house, 7 miles away, but you can't tell what it is, but you can see it.
But the closer you get, there will be a point from where you won't see it.

Can you or your HOA sue Jerry for an eyesore?

I think those letters look damn good! Thank God we didn't sell out to Summers Eve or Massengale.

Agreed.

Jerruh was always going to sell the naming rights, I think ATT is a good choice.

I was really hoping for Nationwide Insurance after the Cowboys made some kind of advertising deal with them. It would have fit so perfect. "Cowboys Nationwide Stadium".

Cowboys Stadium was perfect. Too bad money won out & it was changed.

Money is everything when it comes to naming rights the school I used to go to was called George Farmer traditional named after a figure in the town I noticed in my local newspaper the other day they've changed it to something academy sponsered by the university of such and such it's sad to see.

Here is the thing. I Am sure the "star" was discussed.

Hopefully it has it's own unveiling. I just can't believe that Jerry won't have star on roof when closed.

Then again, the blimp wouldn't show pics of stadium from overhead when closed right? Would it even be there??

Then, when open it will show we star on top of screen, Correct.

Much to do about nothing? I mean it's naming rights for goodness sakes, I have no problem with it... However I have a problem with the product that Dallas is putting on the field LOL!

Well, let the star move with it. Half goes toward one end zone, half goes toward the other. When it's closed, we get to see our big blue star. But alas, the AT&T logo has already replaced the star on top of the video board.:(

Why not a STAR at each end.

I am guessing that's it. No logo on roof in the future. Looked at other stadiums and don't see team logos mixed in with naming rights display??

I honestly thought they'd get more per year for the naming rights. You have to wonder what they'd have gotten if the team was a contender right now. As far as the letters go, I was there last night for the title game, and it didn't look as bad as I thought it would. On the inside though, the AT&T logos are kind of over-kill. We were joking that next thing you know, they'll be on the Super Bowl banners.

stadium opened with a bad team and the economy swirling the bowl, it's been too long without that revenue that they were expecting so they needed to take the first reasonable offer. If they had been able to sell the naming rights in the world we had when the project was approved, it would have been substantial.
