Sorry, but Marshall is a media tool. He doesn't know all the facts about Hardy's situation, like we don't know all of the facts in Marshall's situations. He had so many charges against him. He would have been "Ray Riced" if there were video of his incidents; some of the various accounts by different women are scary. Yet, there he is sitting there talking about Hardy doesn't get it, when, in fact, Marshall doesn't get it. I would have more respect for him if he tried to reach out to help Hardy privately, as he supposedly has gotten help, yet he says this in public to get publicity for himself as he continues to work on his career after football.

It's not about "knowing" what happened in Hardy's case.
Watch the clip with Marshall. He's not bashing Greg at all.
Perhaps, as someone who has mental issues himself, Brandon sees something in Hardy? Wouldn't he be someone who can see that kind of a thing?
Whether or not Hardy did exactly what he's accused of doing (of which I have huge doubts he did), he kind of needs to have more self-awareness. I don't care at all about what happened Sunday, it means nothing and while it wasn't ideal, I hardly consider it an actual problem.
I'm also not advocating Hardy show contrition or remorse; if he maintains that he didn't do what is claimed, why would he show contrition? Why would he apologize if he says he didn't do anything? Apologizing would only implicate him.
But, he needs to be smarter about his comments to the media. I know I know, it's just the media. And he's going to be himself, which is fine. I think he's said some stupid, unneeded things since coming back that he should avoid in the future.

It's not even about the domestic situation. Reading up on it I still don't know what exactly happened that night. It's the other stuff with Hardy. It's how he shows lack of remorse or compassion.

Remorse for what though? If he maintains he's innocent, why would he show remorse?

The BiPolar Marshall? Please Brandon look in the mirror, what do you see and who do you really want to be.

Why not watch the clip and understand where Marshall was coming from? Marshall has gotten himself under control. Maybe he sees something in Greg and wants him to get it under control before it costs him.

How much do you think our two new RBs can help our defense with Seattle scheme and tips?

And is anyone else worried of Greg hardy going nuts on Marshall when the reporters bring it up? I think it's gonna get bad! (Marshall has no room to talk about anything tbh)

Many reports indicated that C-Mike never learned the scheme in Seattle.

The Cowboys are playing the Seahawks. Brandon Marshall plays for the Jets.

maybe he imagines he sees something. Does not mean a thing.

that is Hardy's REAL crime in the eyes of all the PC and media: no apology or remorse. Does not matter that just maybe he feels like there is no need or reason- they DEMAND it or they will do their best to destroy him.

Mental health issues are serious issues. If he believes Hardy has these issues, do it in private. His public "he doesn't get it" doesn't strike me as someone who thinks Hardy has mental issues.

BTW, he needs to be reaching out to his former teammate Ratliff, but, we have not heard a word for Marshall about him. Why? Because it doesn't generate clicks or conversation or "outrage". Too much of this is media driven.

Thanx for posting.

Man..just don't get pissed at me..huh?

I wouldn't want you going back thru my posts and pointing out my flaws.

You'd need a new website..huh?

LOL...nah, I just typed "Brandon Marshall domestic violence" in Google and found that rap sheet conveniently on the first couple of clicks.

Marshall is a smart dude. I have no issues with what he had to say. And, if you heard it, he said it respectfully. It's his opinion.

Hardy's not going to care.

Just because Brandon Marshall dresses up in nice suits and likes to air his thoughts via national programs does not make him " a smart dude".

He's a moron, as are most of these athletes that like to play TV personality in their free time. But Marshall especially... It was just a few weeks ago he suggested racial bias being involved with the Brady case.

I'd have to hear what he said to form an opinion on that. All I know is that when I hear him speak, I consider him thoughtful and generally sincere. The clip I posted, above, is a good example of that.

Maybe he feels there is no need to show remorse or compassion, maybe he knows that deep down he is not that type of guy, maybe he knows that he got involved with a "party girl" and it ended up the wrong way, but he was not at fault for TRYING to dump her. I don't look at him any sort of way for making crazy comments, mainly because of that little thing called FREE SPEECH. I'm looking at the fact that this man is almost 30 and its only been the last 2 years he has really gotten into any trouble.

Over the last two months I have sat and watched comedians talk about and make jokes referring to the Twin Towers as well as recent tragedies and they are always let off the hook. His sense of humor maybe a little off. To be honest with you if someone tweeted and said those two WR are the New Twin Towers...than you dayum right I would have said the exact same thing and there were probably other people that tweeted something similar. Its over 10 years old, it hurt, it changed the world but YO get over it. I mean honestly how long do we have to wait.

Myself as a black male that has children can be heard saying from time to time "Get that trash out or I'm gonna kick your bleep like I was a cop". That doesn't make me a bad person, or any less of a human...i'm just trying to get my point across in my own weird sense of humor.

He doesn't have to feel like he has to show remorse. But I think it says a lot about a guy who's in his CONTRACT YEAR......coming off a offseaosn where his previous team CUT HIM and he didn't have many suitors knocking at his door to sign him and the one that dude only would sign him on a per game basis. He has a shot at a HUGE contract if he's on his best behavior and.....I don't know he doesn't care or it hasn't hit him yet.

In regards to free speech........once again you're missing my point. He can say whatever he wants. HE can also do whatever he wants essentially. But his behavior at this time......its terrible timing and it reeks of someone who may just not get it.

In regards to your 2nd paragraph.....I personally didn't care what he said on Twitter but understand its a PR nightmare for the organization he plays for and he may have a sense of humor but Greg Hardy is not a comedian he's a professional football player.

I get you're defending Hardy. I like what he brings to this team. We haven't seen anything like this in a long time. But you are going to make an excuse for every thing he does. And I understand why. He's a great player. But in a contract year Hardy is not acting like someone who wants to show he's a team player and a "RKG".

What makes Brandon Marshall a moron? Because he doesn't share the same opinion of you? I've seen this all week. For whatever reason these guys are labeled "morons" or stupid despite no one knowing them. Brandon Weeden is what i'd call a moron based on his current stint with the Cowboys. Brandon Marshall? Not a guy i'd consider a moron especially with as gifted as he despite him losing some physical traits.

That's how he comes across. And most people feel the same way about Marshall. He's done a lot of awful things during his NFL career and he can't take that back but the guy has done a great job at changing and seeking help and attempting to help others. He's a prime example that seeking help can work for some.

You don't have guys who are currently in the league doing analyst work every week like he does. Not many can do it. Marshall can.

Look, this is how I see. The media thinks Hardy basically got away with DV last year so now they think it is their job to make his life as miserable as possible. Stirring the pot is their M.O.

He's a moron because every time he opens his mouth something stupid comes out. He has no idea what happened in Hardy's case, the same way he has no clue as to how the court operated in regards to Brady's case. He is the furthest thing from an expert in law and/or ethics, yet I'm supposed to value his opinion on these matters? Please. The guy has been a poster child for off the field trouble, who saw the marketing opportunity in NY and bolted for it as he knows his career is dwindling. I don't see anything sincere about him, he's always been a self centered player who is STILL talking to the media saying "he deserves to be mentioned as the best receiver in the league".

Only on cz will you see people attack somebody trying to help somebody avoid going in a jail or a coffin.

Look at jay Ratliff. Just bc they're cowboys doesn't mean they're the bestest sheesh

Good Form...

In the future and going forward he does need to stick to strictly football talk with the press. If it hasn't sunk in by now it needs to be expressed how hated the Cowboys are, how everything he says to the press and own social media is going to be scrutinized. I think he has already made it that much easier for us to resign him. The professionalism he brings to practice and the games will sorely be miss if we don't resign him but I'm a Corporate Hustler so I tow the Corporate Line. In management I trust...lol

On the personal side the force is telling me he is a good guy that got caught up in a bad situation. (Wrong Girl, Wrong Time)

He is still a lose canon.

Most likely, he will always be troubled. That's basically what he said when he came out and said he was mentally ill. Of course, you can't excuse bad behavior, but the man is trying.

Brandon Marshall's comments

"When I look at Greg and how he's handled himself, on the field and in the locker room, I see a guy that is not aware," Marshall said on the Tuesday night program, via ESPN.com. "He doesn't understand the magnitude of what happened last year, what he did and the atmosphere surrounding the NFL.

"I don't think that he gets it. I don't think that he learned his lesson. And he really needs to look himself in the mirror and ask himself, 'What type of person do I want to be?'"

To the OP, he should really just keep his mouth shut. He's had more than enough accusations himself about DV. Maybe he's the one who doesn't get it.

Chicago Bears star receiver Brandon Marshall has been named in at least eight separate incidents of violence against women since he was drafted in 2006.
