Good. Bonus track from the Wrestler is a really great tune.

Really whether you like the or not comes down to this.

Are you the knucklehead who shouts "Brooooooooooooooce" or the guy who likes songs like Atlantic City?

Sadly I'm neither. For some reason, I can't get into Springsteen at all.

I was that way for a long while. But then someone gave me a copy of Nebraska and told me to listen to it 4 times. I did and really ended up liking it. He writes great lyrics -- often, he can't write the music to go with it to save his life so you end up with great songs that are muddled by some dumb *** rock posturing.

Listened to them both yesterday. Magic is better. But still some good stuff on this one

I like it. I have listened to it two times through so far.

Lucky day, life itself and the wrestler easily stand out.

i think magic was a little better. But magic grew on me. this will too.

the rising was spectacular. these albums are not as good song for song. the rising is great from start to finish.

Either way, its great to have new tracks from the boss. I have been listening to a ton of indie rock lately and this is a nice break from that.

and i am looking forward to watching the dvd later.

Perhaps you lack the gene that gives one good musical taste??

Wrestler and Living on a Dream are my faves. Wrestler is really good, IMO.

Lots of indie bands show a great Springsteen influence - Hold Steady, Arcade Fire pop to mind. Among the hipster dufuses that I hang out with, we celebrate his, Dylan's, and Neil Young's new releases as we do with more modern bands like Sonic Youth, Deerhoof, and Animal Collective.

The album is growing on me more and more. Watching him at the pc today has put me in the mood to just keep spinning his stuff, which usually means I wont listen to anything but his music for awhile.

He is reissuing Darkness on the edge of town, digitally remastered and it is an album that could use that. ANd it is maybe my favorite album of all time.

I listen to darkness and the rising all the way through at least once a week it seems.

and arcade fire does for sure and a side note there is a band called blitzen trapper and they sound like dylan, song called fur. My wife thought it was dylan when she heard it!!
