Yes it has. The halftime "entertainment" won't help either.

The album is growing on me more and more. Watching him at the pc today has put me in the mood to just keep spinning his stuff, which usually means I wont listen to anything but his music for awhile.

and arcade fire does for sure and a side note there is a band called blitzen trapper and they sound like dylan, song called fur. My wife thought it was dylan when she heard it!!

I liked Blitzen album well enough - spun it a bunch of times but it never really grabbed me.

Think the new album would be much better w/out that "Supermarket" song. That one I don't like so much. Feeling like a trip down to the river for me later

Springsteen blows! So does his music...

Fortunately for you...they're coming along way in the cure for tone deafness.

Really...? Maybe if Bruce gets the cure I might like him?

:eek::

Brothers!! Where's the love? I said I'm not a fan, but I don't begrudge anyone liking The Boss. As for The Who, they may well be my favourite of all time. I could listen to Tommy anyway, anyhow, anywhere....

A CD that a friend turned me on to is "Rock And Roll Jesus", by Kid Rock.

I never really thought that I would like his tunes. You might not either...but, the lyrics tell a different story in this CD...you just have to listen.

One of the great protest songs of our era and all you hear is the ironic chorus.

I actually kinda like the Kid, whenever I hear his stuff... had one song out not too long ago, "Amen", that was really good...

I have no beef with iron maiden. I own some of their stuff.

That cracked me up.

Its going to be an all pittsburgh crowd, and springsteen is loved big time in pittsburgh so the halftime show should be full of life.

oh and jack, I have a great bootleg of bruce playing in a bar with pittsburghs own joe gruscheky (sp?) if you want it let me know. its great. Its one of the bootlegs where springsteen kind of just showed up at the bar and played with him and his band!!! I think it is from 98 or 99.

Absolutely.

If you are still in Junior High.

Wrong...it was fun to see dudes my age with their kids at the Maiden concert last year.
Sold out the Verizon 20,000 strong with no radio play.
It's called staying power.

What sounds fun to you sounds really depressing to me. 20,000 old guys who are still drawing Eddie on their notebooks.
