DS9 was so disappointing. There were so many possibilities to life on a space station at the mouth of a stable wormhole, and they focused on those lame shape shifters more than anything else. Even the security chief was one of them, and he was a wuss. He was more intimidating as the chief of staff in the sitcom Benson.I've watched them all except for DS9. For some reason I can't get into it.
I also don't watch the streaming one.

How about, "Ugly bags of mostly water"?Yeah, and everyone can continue to call themselves an Earthling. I'll stick with "I'm a Terran." It sounds better
Like Mirror Mirror ?They should have an alternate Star Trek universe, like Bizarro Star Trek.
Beat ya to it, my friend! lolLike Mirror Mirror ?
It takes a lot of skill to get the sides of your eye to do that.

Yeah I see lolBeat ya to it, my friend! lol
Glad there is one other DS9 fan here but why must it be Sam? Just kidding Sam.I've finally watched DS9 and overall it's mostly good. It took me a good five or six attempts to get into it though.
Any of the episodes with the religious people from Bajor, I just skip to the next episode. Same thing with Voyager and the holodeck based episodes. Just skip them, they seriously suck.
DS9 had a few episodes based on TOS’s Mirror Mirror like Through The Looking Glass:
This one was from the third season so...
Reminds me how I initially gave up on TNG after seeing the Enterprise separate into two during the pilot Encounter At Farpoint episode. Then I caught the Contagion episode, which remains one of my favorites, about two years later and the rest is history lol.I don't remember that one, but I may have already given up on DS9 by then.

The first three DS9 seasons are superficial overall but the final four seasons, especially focusing on the Federation/Dominion War, are as good as the best of Trek’s other companion series in my opinion. The last half of the series had a much dark tone and edge than the other series, including TOS, combined.

If people only knew just how much that one scene pissed me off. I did not think they were following in TOS footsteps. Thankfully I eventually found out how wrong I was. Gene Roddenberry was a pretty cool cat.lol, nothing like giving up on a series after watching just one episode hah.
