Why mess with perfection?
What is perfect about a white jersey with 2 different colors of blue, neither which match the blue on the helmet, and black lines around the arm stripes but not on the numbers or name? Not to mention the home and away versions bear no resemblence to each other.

The Cowboys jersey is the most imperfect jersey in the NFL. I think a blind man created it.

As, for the throwbacks... they are classic and perfect. They should be the season-long uni.

I just wish they'd wear the white throwback once. They never have and stopped selling them as well.

In 1994, against Detroit they wore this white throwback. I believe it is the only time they wore it. Not the best picture.

Good call.
I wish they'd do it with the new version, though.
With the white helmet.

Just the best uniform, period.

The Bucs uni's are pretty nice though...I guess it's because I see them everyday.

Cool picture, bro. You know Tolbert didn't get much more than a finger on Sanders on that play. Quickest RB I've ever seen.

Also, notice the white on white, pants and shirt. I think that looks really cool. I just like white on white uniforms.

No, I'm not a Penn State fan, BTW. :)

I like it too, but I'm certainly not a fan of the mismatched blues on the pants and shoulders. The throwback white helmets would look better there too.

Very unique!

The overall uniform is great, but there are small things that could make it better IMO. One of those things would be to have white pants with the dark jerseys, I think. Another is to make the blue or silver pants, more blue or silver.

What do you think, since you are a female and presumable have way more fashion sense than I ever will? :D

I'm all for more blue in the home pants like the metallic sliver blue of the 80s teams. IMO, the road blue uniform is just fine. In fact, I wish they would wear it at home sometimes.

America's Team is a fan moniker. Not an official nickname.
The NFL could not show favoritism in this way by putting it on the jersey.
Either way, that idea is silly, IMO.

Actually, the NFL created the America's Team nickname through its Films division after we lost Super Bowl XIII. Despite the loss, the Cowboys film for that year was titled "America's Team" because of the large number of Dallas fans in attendance wherever the Cowboys played. In fact, John Madden says "the Cowboys lead the league in lobbies" to this day, meaning Dallas has more fans in hotel lobbies than any other team. So the fans didn't make it up. The league did. And it's a true to form nickname.

True (see sig). While great for marketing purposes, I think the players have considered it more of an unhelpful burden. Why give other teams an extra incentive to kick your ***? We may not have invented the title, but we didn't exactly run away from it either.

Yep. It's pure gold from a marketing standpoint, but it's always going to breed resentment from opposing players and fans. Tell you what though...that just means that when win the big one again, we'll have earned it despite the name and the contempt and hate it nurtures throughout the league.

The throwbacks are great for sales but please don't wear them during a game. I agreed with John Madden's comment during a game several years ago duing a game we were not playing well. Something to the effect that they don't seem to be playing like the Cowboys, maybe in part because they don't look like the Cowboys with these uniforms.

The current uniforms are classy, traditional and the best uniform in football period all at the same time.

It's part of what makes Dallas the most special team in football.

Don't jack with the uniforms.

I never discount anything that could make money. However, nothing has been announced on this and they shouldn't change much if they change anything at all.

I tend to agree.

Why tinker with a uniform that is so perfect?

The Cowboy brand means something. It's valuable. Just ask Jerra's accountants.

Minor modifications? Yes, but only a marketing fool would want to change it.

The only change I would make is make the numbers on the whites the same color blue as the star. I never really understood the different blues.

They need to pick ONE shade of blue, and stick with it...same with the silver.

The blues still dont match. I like to see the blue star, the #'s on the whites and the blue jerseys all match.

It can't be that foolish because I have not, and never will, purchase one of those God-awful, imperfect white jerseys.

I have, however, purchased the others.

Changing the jersey would earn my money and I know I'm not alone.

Those who think the tradition white jersey's are "perfect" are exemplifying homerism at it's finest, IMO.
Not because you like them, because I believe you genuinely do. But because you don't see ANYTHING wrong with them when they are riddled with inconsistencies, very bland and poorly designed.
