New Uni's?

This is a moot point, guys.

Per NFL rules, any uniform or logo changes must be submitted to the league by March 1st of the year before they are to be implemented. That means that in order to have new uni's for 2009, JJ would have had to file the info with the league by March 1 of this year.

There's almost no chance that Jerry could have done this and kept it a secret, so I have to believe that The Boys aren't going to be changing uni's any time soon.

I think this was more of wishful thinking thread than a serious one.

I like the road blue jerseys that we use. I also like the alternate jerseys, the ones from the lockerroom in this thread.

I don't like the white uniforms for a few reasons. One, the blue doesn't match the blue on the helmet or pants and that annoys me. Two, the jersey is just too plain. Now if there were a star on the sleeve like the road blues, along with matching blue colors, I would definitely like the white uniforms. Now, we could leave the blue on the whites the same.....but then change the star on the helmet to more of a royal blue, but then we would have to change every freakin logo we have.....so its easier to just change the color on the jersey.

I also wish we would use silver pants, instead of those funky colored pants.

BTW, I would still like to see a silver jersey with the exact same design as the blue jersey. I would like this jersey to be used in the preseason, both at home and on the road. Then once you make the team you get the opportunity to wear the white or blue uniforms.

I think it would be cool to make the center stripe of the helmets gold for one year in honor of the 50th anniversary.

Kind of like the red, white and blue center stripe in 1976, the bicentennial year.

Damnit, I'm in detention again.

I went to schools where both parents had to sign the report cards. Those were tense days.

Especially when you could only forge one of their signitures.

My sister got busted for that in high school. She was called to the principal's office, entered the room, and sitting there was our mother. Game over.

Ha ha. Sounds like the old story of the kid who wrote his own absence note and signed it "my Mother".

I'm gonna go against the grain here.

I always felt that they should simply do away with the navy road jersey and revert to the opposite of the white jersey, which regardless of what some of you have said, to me is the classiest jersey in football.

If you have to darken the blue a little, then do it. But I'd like our two jerseys to match and I'd be pissed if the white one were changed.

Just wanted I wanted to hear.
We should never change our uniforms.
This topic shouldn't even be brought up in my opinion.
But now we know for sure. Glad to hear it will not change.
