New Uni's?

They need to pick ONE shade of blue, and stick with it...same with the silver.

If anything, I'd hope to see some consistency established between the home and away jerseys: same numbering, lettering, same shade of blue!, etc.

Mostly, I wish to see the away-jersey pants used for home games. :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who believes this... anyone else? or are we alone?

I have more of a sentimental attachment to the throwbacks, since when I first start to going to games that is what they wore. Back then the jerseys were more of a royal blue and the names were not on the back.

When they went to the uniforms they wear now in 1964, it seemed like a close imitation to the Detroit Lions uniforms.

I also think the pants on the current uniforms should have more blue in them.

Anybody know anything about these. http://www.idatasports.com/products/idjs64.html

I think the Jerseys need to be sharp and stylish, but not too flashy. I would not change very much... I would like for something a little creative and new -- like a small shadow falling from the numbers that says "America's Team" in small print.

Don't take offense, because I don't mean this to be personal, but that's the worst idea...ever.

I think we have the best throwbacks in the league hands down!!!!

I agree. Although some people I know disagree with me.

But I think everyone agrees that they are definitely better than the Eagles(?) throwbacks from this past season. :puke:

Lol. Evidently, we aren't hated enough.

You guys are probably right...just kicking things around...it would capture and highlight the concept of being America's team, since so many try to steal this from us through the media etc...

We can never be hated enough until we win 10 straight superbowls.

Anyone know what Milton Bradley game that is in the picture?.. its bugging me

The game is called Win-A-Card Its a game based on sports trading cards. I'd be interested to see if there are any of the orignal sports trading cards in there and what shape they are in. here is a description of the web.

This is a vintage 1969 "Win-A-Card" Board Game put out by Milton Bradley which came with 1968 Topps Baseball cards. Football and Non Sports cards were also included. The cards came in clear cellophane packs, and it is unclear how many cards actually came with the game. the box reads "Contains a generous supply." I have heard numbers that range from 50-70 baseball cards, and various amount of the other sports, and non sports cards. The 1968 Topps cards that were included with the game are of a different variation to the regular issued Topps cards. The backs of the cards are a bright yellow color as opposed to orange backs. This variation has been a mystery to collectors for years. It is rare to find the game with all the cards sealed in the cello packs.

They'll continue to try...and fail...almost on a daily basis. I just heard someone proclaim the Yankees the "original America's team" about an hour ago.

Meh...let 'em keep trying. It simply further cements their envy.

I hope your right, but I see things happen all the time that I said would never happen.

EXACTLY

That's part of why the throwbacks are my favorite jerseys the Cowboys wear.
Simple, clean, with a consistent color scheme.

I just wish they'd wear the white throwback once. They never have and stopped selling them as well.
Like this one... (ignore the "Carter") :)

America's Team is a fan moniker. Not an official nickname.
The NFL could not show favoritism in this way by putting it on the jersey.
Either way, that idea is silly, IMO.

I must admit....though I like the current uni's, I do like the white helmets too. Maybe because its different, I'm not sure. But, if they would make the facemask blue to match the star and stripes....man that would be sweet.

Keep the uniforms but change the color of the endzone. Id rather go back to the navy blue then the blue we have now.

screw talk of the blue jersey curse!!!
I'll take the blue uni worn by MB3 in TheHoofbite's sig over anything else I've ever seen the boys wear. And I'd stick with the silver helment.

I do not like those white helments that go with the throwbacks.

I do like the white pants with the dark jersey, though. I'm not sure why, but I really like the white pants with the dark jersey better than our normal blue-green/silver/aqua/turqoise/powder/pewter/teal ones... or whatever color that is.

I'm with you. I like the throwbacks, but do not like the white helmet that goes with it. Stick with the silver. Also, I wish the Cowboys would do away with the current away jersey. The practice jersey looks better.

Also, in the home uniforms, notice how the practice uniform has the same colors as opposed to the different shades we see on gameday? I think the Cowboys should use the practice colors instead.

Does anyone know if the 'Boys plan on donning new uni's in the new stadium? Usually, teams sport new uniforms when they open up a new stadium. I, for one, love the 'Boys current uni's. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there that may have heard of anything.

Why mess with perfection?

That is the type of small tweaking I wouldn't mind.

I like the throwbacks and the white helmets too, but don't think I'd like to see them on a regular basis. The regular uni's just need to have the colors match better all the way around.

That's interesting, but I think I'd have to see it worn to get the full idea.
