Oh my gosh, now more than ever I don't want him, but I may accept Matt Jones.

Only on a Dallas Cowboys forum would a thread about Joe Horn go 15 pages long.

I'd rather go with the status quo of Crayton, Miles, Hurd, and Stanback opposite TO than bring in Horn.

:hammer:

we don't have to do anything, I'm not sure why everyone feels we have to bring in all these crappy WRs

Matt Jones, Joe Horn, whomever

Not me.

Owens goes down and this team is done.

Nobody can replace Owens, but I would rather have some option than none.

a 6th receiver (Matt Jones) and 4th receiver (Joe HOrn) are options?

God help us

Both.

I still believe he wants to come here, that we want him, that Detroit knows they need to trade him, and will try and swing the deal.

But if you think I'd grouse about Bolden or Johnson I assure you I wouldn't.

watch Matt Millen copy Marvin Lewis

I trust the facts.

The fact that the guy couln't play practically all of last season.

The fact that when he did return, he contributed nothing.

The fact that he couldn't pass a physical and refuses to take another one.

And the fact that he won't sign a waiver against further injuring his knee.

That's what I trust.

it was reported earlier this offseaon that Glenn was running hard

in fact, I think it was Jerry who said that, remember how before this whole injury settlement fiasco, how Jerry kept telling the media how hard Terry was working out?

I'd like to read your reasoning on this.

Yeah that makes two of us... exactly what detail in his depleted skill set stands out most to make a positive impact?

well it has to deal with a possible signing to the cowboys so of course we are going to talk about it, what kind of fans would we be to be like:

espn announcer: According to the A.P. Dallas Cowboys are in talks with former Atlanta widereceiver Joe Horn.

Hostile: hes no kicker so im good.

HeavyHitter: He runs a good 30 yard slant

The Kid 05: ford sucks.

Dreadnought: Why are we talking about this guys?

[/thread]

just doesn't happen like that, we talk and get others ideas

Yeah, no joke LOL.

Joe Horn probablly hasn't gotten this much attention since he departed New Orleans.

How about Keyshawn? :lmao2:

Respect the Keyshawn... I love that guy. :)

I'll never forget when he played for the Bucs and he was "mic'd up" for the Monday night game against Indy (the game where Manning made that fabulous comeback) and he was running his mouth all night until Johnny G told him to shut up and that he was sick of his mouth.

I still laugh every time I think about it.

still would rather have Glenn;)

Me don't know if you are serious or what, but you won't find a bigger critic of Glenn on this board.

Having said that, Glenn, old, gimpy, pouty Glenn would be far far better than this nobody Joe Horn.
Horn has a big mouth.
Often is dissatisfied with the coaches.
Is, at best, a marginal WR.
Old.
Injured.
Rusty.
Oh, did I mention that we have YOUNG WRs who need the chance?

Oh, god, to sink to this level of speculation about . . . Joe Horn? I don't mean you, RomotoOwens, I mean the entire board.

Well, I actually think most of the board thus far agrees that Joe Horn is not an option. I think the only disagreement is whether or not we should keep Glenn.

I know, Tovya, I just carried away. I am on the jr. college debate team and am practicing points of rebatta. Or is it proposing the affirmative?
Curses!

Horn sucks! Sorry, I had to say it.
