New York Giants @ San Francisco 49ers

After this game, watching Alex Smith, I'm even more impressed with Harbaugh's coaching this season.

How did he get this quarterback to this game?

Yeah. It's hard to imagine what he'd do with a QB like Romo.

I will say this, watching the 49ers defense for once has be literally wanting to switch to the 4-3.

Don't the 49ers run a 3-4?

Most impressive is that the 49ers don't have a dominant edge rusher.

Another lucky break.
How? Forward progress was established which means the play stops. This goes for both teams.

If that was Witten, that STILL wouldn't have blown the whistle! How lucky can they get??? The fix is in!

what stopped by forward process. Remember when we played the bears and roy was getting pushed back and fumbled where was this rule then?????

For sure.

That was a giants fumble.

Everyone quit the banter and stick to talking about the game, or infractions will be handed out without discretion.
It's one certain individual creating it all.

If you have time, and I know you do because you basically live on here, go and check my history as far back as they will let you. I went by the name "clove". Stupid name BTW, but I was one of the first guys to beg Parcells' to bring Romo in because I saw something in him in the preseason.

So I paid close attention to Romo. I was a true believer. But every year, there was another excuse. Then I watched how he performed in pressure games. I watched how he made his reads. I watched and studied everything about Romo and came to the conclusion that he was a great QB unless you're going up against the powers of the NFL CONSISTENTLY. He will beat a great team, but not consistently. I've watched it for years. things in his game I don't care for. Mainly his decision making, and if he throws an INT, he just loses his mind.

I have not liked Romo for 3 years now, and that will NEVER change. I almost fell into the trap after he came in and played hurt, but so what, I've played hurt before, whoopty doo.

First of all, let's see you cop out of this statistic:

Secondly, if you studied Romo so much, perhaps take a second to study this defense and offensive line.

Why do refs stop the play as soon as 2+ people get on the ball carrier? I call bs on the forward progress.

Wow.. ref sees the ball come out and then blows the whistle giving them the forward progress. Unreal.

Good to see that quality thought is put into deciding who gets punished.......:laugh2:

This is about the time Eli escapes pressure, heaves it up and the receiver "velcros" the ball.

Smith is pretty good but he's only a part timer.

They do run a 3-4, but their DE's can absoulutely rush the QB. Unlike ours.

They have some great ILBs.
