Yeager--I post under one name only, that's the honest to God truth. Isn't there some way you can prove this? I welcome any opportunity to prove this and shut some of these guys up.

you can only have one name to publish with your name info when signing in, i had forgotten my password one time, so i signed in with another email address one time, the staff here told me, you can only post with one name, etc, hope that helps

regarding the player, at first, he is probably a pratice squad player, but over the years, the cowboys have been noted for picking up free agents,
cornell green
cliff harris
raphael septein
fritzh, the kicker in early 70's,
drew pearson
bill bates
and even mcbrair, now a pro bowl punter, so its always worth the risk

You may just be right about this kid brother....

Brash, cocky with some talent. Let's hope he pans out to be a real diamond in the rough, just as Tony Romo proved to be. Sadly some around here are already dismissing him. Let's keep an open mind people.

Looks like "the kid" has his own website for those who are interested in such things.

Kid brother? Who is he, bowmanbody?

Keep an eye on this "obscure" signing. The guy was coming into his own in the CFL. Great size & hands. I can see him making the team. We're either old or inexperienced at WR. He chose us over the Colts.

Chuckle... yeah, this is the signing that we'll all look back on next February and say "that's the one that put us over the top, right there; wouldn't have won the Super Bowl without it"...

Bet ya a nickel his fondest dream right now is making the practice squad, then spending next spring over in Europe...

you have to remember in the CFL the wideouts have rules that allow them to move before the snap, not as much as the AFL but their is movement to help beat the jam on the line

topic was the WR guy from CFL and i tried to bring conversation but its completely ignored for some odd reason.....

I'm sorry if Cal payed better than the A&M coach :D
Of course, the Salukis got screwed too, didn't they? Or was that less egregious? I can't remember now.

i think those who closed their minds did so cause Richardson is backed by philo......and we all know his lunacy around here....

i have never seen the guy, so i am just gonna wait and see what happens. he may make the team or he may get cut before training camp......who knows.

All I can tell you comes from reading his numbers, and his bio...

This tells me that he's had problems with breaking his feet... this is not a good thing for a man who makes his living running...

When he wasn't hurt, he's been productive, but of course, this is the pass-crazy CFL we're talking about... his yards per reception average is in line with what you'd expect from a possession receiver, rather than a deep threat... and yet, I have read in a couple-three different places that he actually has pretty good speed (no 40 time to back that up)...

I'm not gonna say that he has zero chance of claiming a roster spot, he might actually be a hidden gem... I just think he's an extreme longshot for anything more than the practice squad... the current depth chart would make it hard for him to climb onto the 53 man roster, I think...

its almost like people that were blind loyalist Q supporters have this vendetta against Henson, which doesnt make sense to me. It's like they want to cheer for the Cowboys, but they dont want a QB to be better than the mediocre Q-Pot was

David

Exactly! And somewhat scary! Nors, it's time put away the Quinny poster you got as a stocking stuffer last Christmas. Nors is almost as bad as that poster over at the Star-Telegram (bowmanbody). Bowmanbody had this rather disgusting infatuation for that CFL QB Ricky Ray.

Thanks for having my back, brother. I see this guy making the team--not camp fodder or a practice squader. Obviously, Dallas has scouted him and wanted him.

And of course, every player they ever scouted and signed has gone on to make the 53 man roster...

So, who do you think Jeremaine Copeland Jr. is gonna beat out for a roster spot??

TO?? Yeah, that'll happen...

Glenn?? See above...

Crayton?? Nope... not even the proverbial snowball's chance in Hades...

Hurd?? The Boys like him...

Austin?? See above...

Rector?? Maybe, I don't know...

Urban?? They scouted him, and wanted him, this offseason, too...

A possible (even likely) first day draft pick??

You think he's gonna make the 53 man roster, the Boys will carry no more than 5 WRs... so kindly tell us who makes the roster, and who he beats out for that final spot... I don't see him beating that numbers game, even if he has a good camp... that would be the point at which the practice squad becomes an attractive option, not some disappointment for him...

The only play I remember of that game was the SIU player fumbling the ball when he tried to pass it at the end of the game.

silver do you ever sleep? (honest question)

Sleep is for wusses... :)

Naw, I just work graveyard shifts... so I'm almost always on late at night, because there's about an hour and a half worth of paperwork involved in doing the audit, and the rest of the night I just basically have to be around to check in the very occasional guest, and check out the odd earlybird, and answer the phone... so I sit and play on the computer most of the night... ain't life great?? LOL...

And when I get home, some mornings I'm not particularly tired, and I get online and talk with y'all for a while before catching some sleep, some mornings I come home dragging and head straight to bed... those mornings, I generally wake up in the early afternoon or even the early evening, and get online for a little while too... IOW, what time of the day I might be online varies according to my mood and/or my state of fatigue...

As I get older, I do find I'm actually sleeping less and less, which is about the opposite of what I might have expected...
