Ummmm, the only "unbiased" source you quoted is ESPN and they have Newman ranked 21 among the league's CBs.

It's an insider article, but you should be able to see the top 10 without an account and he's not there.

I'm simply showing you that by stating that there are NO sources that list Newman as a top 10 CB, you've made yourself look foolish. Ummmm, the second two had him in their underrated lists, and that can mean anything. He's a good player that hasn't been called good enough, or a great player that's only thought of as good.

And that all-pro list was from a year ago. I mean, Vick was a pro bowl QB and Delhomme was one of the best QBs in the NFC, I think you need to come up with a more recent source to be taken seriously.

Anyways, stop whining about being so misunderstood. ESPN hates us, wah! Everyone thinks their team, when they aren't one of the best in the league and being told so, is constantly bashed. Cowboys have gotten plenty of good press this season.

Just FYI, Espn Scouts have not updated their rankings. If you look at the list, you'll see some of the players don't even have numbers next to them.

Outside of that, and not to get too deep into this discussion, do you really believe all these guys are better than Newman. Some of whom were injured thoughout 2006?

Yes, they do. And they all seem to evolve into one of like 5 subjects here. Wade Phillips' D vs. Parcells' D. A Skins player vs. a Boys player. Romo's pro- or re-gression. JJ vs. MBIII. And if it's going to be a better defense or just more exciting.

There are guys who were injured, who missed games, and some, that are within the Top 10 who got beat like a drum last year. Actually we haven't had that many skins player vs boys player threads this offseason.

We've had alot of general NFL stuff dominating the board. The dog threads, the suspension threads, nfl retiree threads, etc.

Again, true. I've managed to stay away form those threads for the most part though. After reading through that epic thread invovling fuzzy and bob, I lost a few years off of my life expectancy.
