Jets, Cowboys might have interest in Matt Jones
Former Jaguars receiver Matt Jones, who was released earlier this week after spending nearly a week in prison for a probation violation, could draw interest from the Jets and Cowboys, league sources have indicated.

What has to happen before any team signs Jones is for the NFL to decide whether he faces additional sanctions for his probation violation. Jones was suspended three games last year after being arrested in a cocaine possession incident.

Jones is a bit of risk, what with his background, but he is a viable alternative at receiver. We'll keep you posted.

For the Record, Newsday is not the most admirable of newspapers. There's a fair chance those sources were just a misinterpretation of sounds emanating from the writer's toilet bowl.

Been down this road before.. And it worked out pretty good for us.

Hell, from stories of it, might be surprising if a good majority of those 90's teams weren't all jacked up on blow at some point.

Is what it is. We can't be ones to discriminate. What's next, Pittsburgh, getting all huffy 'n puffy about steroids?

Bring him in, give him a try. This guy isn't an influential leader of any sorts that's going to tear apart a locker room, if he messes up we get rid of him. Simple, really.
