Tomlin seems to be on the list.

He’d be number 1 on my list!

Wouldn’t hate Flores, but he’s not a given, Tomlin is the choice if they’re smart, but they aren’t.

Has been a lot of talk of Tomlin to the Jets when they fire Glenn after this season, but you’d have to think he’d prefer Dallas if we were interested.

If the Dallas Cowboys decide to move on from Brian Schottenheimer, I think the biggest question is whether they need another offensive minded head coach or someone who can finally get the defense playing at a consistently high level.

For me, the next hire should be evaluated on three things: proven leadership, a clear defensive philosophy, and the ability to build a coaching staff that complements Dak Prescott and the roster.

Brian Flores, Chris Shula, or even Klint Kubiak are possible places to start and go from there. Go outside the organization and not promote from within. And most importantly give him the power to make real changes and not be a Jerry Jones yes man.

In no way does Jerry pay him to sit on the couch for two more years after this season. I can maybe see him getting fired if next season turns out the same as this current one. We are stuck with Shott through 2027 at worst.

While I think Shotty isn’t the solution, I don’t think he is going to get fired or demoted by Jerry due to Jerry’ego and lack of appropriate candidates. I think it’s apparent that Jerry believes this team is so talented that any coach can win with what is in-place and thus his refusal to hire a legitimate, experienced head coach. This shows Jerry’s ignorance as most fans know that coaching is a difference maker in the NFL.

I was never feeling bad, brother.

I've never wished injury or death on an opposing player or anyone for that matter. The psychos here have wished injury and even death on Dak. I saved the receipts. People have seen them. A site that uses the name and likeness of the team shouldn't be allowed to let its members wish injury and death on one of their players. The people who do these things are worthless and pathetic. I don't believe in Karma but they will have their say to the high court's when it's all said and done.

I don’t think we are firing anybody. The offense has been strong under Scotty and the defense hasn’t had the same coordinator for the last 4 years. Firing folks means a 5th DC and that’s probably part of the issue.

It'll be a retread, for sure, after this little experiment has failed. Maybe I'm a fool but I'm still not entirely out on Schotty and CP, but I'm definitely walking toward the door.
