point taken. But it doesnt say anywhere that ya'll have 2 NFL Championships. I cant find it. All i'm finding is the 5 superbowls you have. If you had 2 NFL championships, that would be 7 total championships which i dont believe is correct.

Let me ask the obvious then... In what ways is Parcells better then Gibbs? Gibbs is 140-76 (65% win percentage), 3 super bowl wins, 4 NFC championships and a 17-5 record in the postseason. Parcells is 163-123 (57% win percentage) 2 super bowl wins, 3 AFC championships and a 11-7 record in the postseason. So Gibbs has a better record, more super bowls, more conference championships and more wins and less losses in the postseason but Gibbs somehow is not better then Parcells. Yeah okay... I think the skins this year has as good of a chance to get to the super bowl as anyone else. Just like the Cowboys have a good chance as well. Just my thoughts...

You could say the same about Joe Gibbs turning a bad team into a good one.

Check our records after Gibbs left after the 1992 season. we only made the playoffs once, and were horrible. But when he came back, well we all know what he has done.

Ask 100 people who they think the better coach is b/w Gibbs and Parcells, and i could bet you that at least 70- 85 % of those people say Gibbs. Random people, not all cowboy fans.

We can BET on how that one turns out as well.

I seriously didnt think the teams were that awful before parcells came and took over. My mistake. I was clearly owned throughout the thread for not reading, and it was shown.

The thing is that he didnt retire early in his career, which is why he stayed with the Skins his entire coaching career from 1981-1992. That's why it is hard to compare the two coaches based on the teams they turned around b/c it is Parcells 3 to Gibbs-1.

The problem is when you join a thread with only the intent to talk smack and aren't prepared to have someone know better you come off looking bad.

Trust me when I say people won't forget. 3 times you failed to read one post and made assumptions you couldn't back up. Then You decided to basically call Cowboys fans homers and threw out a flame post. It got thrown right back at you because in fact some people do know better.

Gibbs is a great coach. He has twice resurrected the Commanders form the dead or near dead.

Parcells has done it with 3 teams and dallas would be the fourth. You can hat eus all you want. Throw out little darts thinkigg you're clever. But never assume we're clueless around here. That's a fatal mistake.
