Cover Graham with one of our DBs? That doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

Jimmy Graham will be a problem, but it's because he's Jimmy Graham, not because he's a TE. References to our prior performances against true TEs are meritless.

After 3 games I have the season pegged...and it's 6-10, and I would put this week in the L column sadly

Oh give me a break. Graham is a TE but he won't be covered like one. We've been burned by TEs because we have inexperienced LBs covering them. Graham will be covered by a DB.

Which DB are we going to be having do that? Church and Wilcox will get killed by him.

Mo certainly isn't going to do it. And when you put Scan or Carr on him that leaves a WR being covered by a lesser DB who will likely have a good game.

Jimmy Graham will have a big game. I have zero doubt about that.

Saints were never going to be an easy-out, it doesn't matter what their record is. They're a matchup problem for everybody. But it's worth noting that they were a particular problem for us last year when Sean Lee went down and we were stuck playing Drew Brees in mostly zone coverage with no rush. That's a recipe for disaster. Especially since we had *nobody* who could cover the backs underneath. And we were playing in NOLA, the year after we released our DC and he went to NOLA.

The Saints in Dallas, without Sproles, with our secondary and LBs back (Rolando is a big question mark for this game), and with our ability to lean on the run to avoid the bad pass, and some of the defensive problems they've been having this year...it's going to be a different story. I'm still expecting them to win, but it's not out of the realm of the possible for us to beat them heads up. At the very least, I don't think they toy with us the way they did last season.

Fair enough.

Romo was closer to himself yesterday with escaping pressure and I expect that Sunday.

Murray will not fumble (get in line to slap me if he does).

The potential of having Spencer, Ro and Scandrick back in game shape should help our defense.

Harris is due for a big one and boy would a return Sunday be big!!!

It's not impossible, I BELIEVE, I BELIEVE, I BELIEVE!!!

Of course it is not impossible to beat the Saints. I fully expect them to make big plays in this game they are a very talented bunch, they do have areas of weakness that the Cowboys must exploit and defense is going to have to make some big plays along the way

The Cowboys defense made the Rams third string QB look like Peyton Manning. What's Drew Brees gonna do?

Our only chance is to rush for 200+ yards and control the clock for 40+ minutes like we did against the Titans. Otherwise, it's going to be a disaster just like last year.

If this team wants to be taken seriously, they need to beat teams like the Saints. I don't think that's going to happen.

I never thought the Cowboys would win this game to begin with so even if they lose, it wouldn't be too discouraging as long as they take care of business the following week against Houston. This is what the Cowboys do, they beat the bottom feeders and lose to the playoff contending teams.

The point is you said Graham will kill us because we have struggled with other TEs. There is zero merit to that argument.

I disagree, beating a quality team that pounded you a year ago does mean something.

Let's be real here, if the only teams we can beat are the Titans and Rams, then we have a major problem

Well I agree it MEANS something but my point is, if you lose the game so what? You go 2-2 and the season is over? I just don't believe in overreacting over a win or loss in week 4. And the Rams and Titans are technically as bad as the Aint's are if you factor in records.

When is the last time we beat a team with an elite QB?

If Breese comes out and has his way with us then it just shows that its going to be impossible to win in this league with this defensive scheme.

Once again, if they lose this week and then beat the Seahawks than what? I just can't get overly excited or depressed over a week 4 game. A win would be huge. A loss would be......bad. But measuring stick? I can't agree.

L.O.L.

Yeah...if they can't win with these players this scheme is just fatally flawed.

Maybe we should try Moore on him.

I don't give a crap.

This scheme plays soft and everyone knows the holes in this kind of defense.

It's too easy even with great players to pick apart in today's NFL.

I don't mind Garrett staying head coach if we make playoffs this year. He has almost rebuilt this entire team, we are young, will make mistakes but we will get better

If Garrett can start beating a team over .500 I wouldn't mind it either....but only beating losing teams doesn't say much for his coaching. His record speaks for itself

Has ALMOST rebuilt team. Still need some pieces yes but we are very young. I know people are down on guys like Claiborne and Wilcox etc. But neither one has had 3 years in the league yet. Claiborne going on his 3rd and Wilcox only 2nd year. They will get better and have gotten better.

We were a mess, 1-7 team. ... over paid old vets.... remember. Have lost young prospects to career ending injury.... Holloman for example. Injuries are big part as well, hard to rebuild team with no talent when new players are injuried. ...D Law for example.

The arrow is only pointing up for this team. Romo really the only concern, can he stay healthy, is his back problems going to linger for entire season. Overall we have changed ALMOST the entire team. Need chemistry, experience, scheme changes both offense and defense. This team is learning how to win against adversity. I don't care if people think Titans and Rams are terrible, those wins are good for team bonding. I see them fighting even when down 21 points.

I'm not saying this team is perfect, they will lose games, make mistakes but they will get better

Please tell me you aren't going back to 2010 to say look at what Garrett has done since? It has been four years. You also forget that 1-7 team was coming off a division championship AND the only playoff victory since 1996.

Sad part is when Dallas wins Sunday night the same claims will be made he and his team have not beaten a team with a winning record.

Jones hinted McClain too be back, not expected him too miss but him saying maybe even Spencer, that would be nice cause we need some sacks, they're defense ain't that good, they barely beat the Vikings with no AD and changed qbs during the game.
