Next year another year of your life will have passed. For some, it could be the last year of their lives.
This year with the Cowboys was a disappointment; last year was a disappointment. The past ten years have brought nothing but disappointment. The past thirty years have allowed you to see the fall of an empire while the rich got richer and the fans paid for it.
And now, Dak and Jerry want you to "wait till next year" again.
And next year will be a disappointment, too.
Nothing has changed, nothing will change.
But Dak, Jerry, and Stephen want you to wait till next year, again.
And at the end of next year, you will once again be asked,
Wait till next year.
And you will once again be flooded with "MVP" chants, and "This is our year!" cries every time the Cowboys beat up on a cellar dwellers. Once again the Cowboys will accept the Super Bowl trophy early, only to have to give it back at the end.
Welcome to next year.
 
Meh, whatever. It's all of our choices to still be engaged. No one's wrong for buying the cheese and no one's wrong for doubting the cheese will be sour. Just laugh at my jokes and agree that Dez didn't catch it, lol.

This season sucked for me for one major thing - I was half my age, a young man of 30, the last time Dallas played in the NFCCG.

The first half of my life saw 8 super bowls and 14 NFCCG appearances. The 2nd half of my life? A 5 and 13 playoff record. Dallas has missed the playoffs 16 times in the last 30 years. SIXTEEN TIMES.......... let that sink in. Do the Stans realize that Dak is about to finish his 10 season and Dallas has now missed the playoffs 5 times during his career? (no, it's not all his fault, so don't start with your BS)

And people wonder why some of us old time fans are jaded and have lost interest.

Natural Gas Man and Bozo will continue to make money and lie that they really really really want to win a Championship
and those like Jazz and Ranching will be polyanna
Rocky will continue to claim he hates NGM while praising the organization
Rambo will insist we will win it all in training camp
and far too many will continue to buy NGMs circus carny act

You might feel jaded but you are still interested for you to be on a fan forum posting about the Cowboys .

We will see what they do in fa and the draft but im leaning towards expecting another bad season next year.
