Defense
One player to keep an eye on may well be inside linebacker Ryan Fowler (6-3, 245).
We have a glaring need at LOLB and finding a player to truly complement ROLB DeMarcus Ware will be one of the keys if the defense is to take the next step, IMO.
That won't leave a lot of dollars for a big ticket inside 'backer and Fowler could well take advantage of that.
Offense
All of the running backs should be better and FB Lousaka Polite might have an expanded role if no upgrade is obtained.
But my choice isn't even on the team as I type.
I believe the offense has a lot of pieces in place that would allow a rookie receiver to come in and flourish if one is selected.
Rookie wideouts often struggle if asked to start immediately, that's why a rookie burner such as Buckeye Santonio Holmes could have a lot of success focusing on deep routes, IMO.
Holmes will likely be off the board if he times as fast as I expect, but we'll have to wait until April to know for sure. It's considered a down year for wideouts much like it was for running backs in 2004 and we all remember what happened then.
