There's much more possibility for the NFC Championship Game to go through New Orleans. There's more of a chance that it would go through Seattle before it goes through Dallas. The Seedings are #1 Chicago, #2 New Orleans, #3 Seattle, #4 Dallas. Whether the 'Boys fans want to admit it or not your 4 losses have had a more of an impact of our 4 losses. See 3 of our losses are to AFC teams, which gives us a better Conference record therefore we currently own the tie breaker.

If the playoffs started today, Cowboys would have to play the Giants again, yes the GMen.

I would have loved to see our teams face off, with my Saints at full health, but the world doesn't work that way. Remember these aint yo daddy's Saints. We have amazing depth at all positions, these Saints never give up. See ya Sunday....Good Luck!!!

The fact is we are the #2 seed presently posessing the bye. 7-1 conference record, second only to the Bears. You claim you've beaten the best, I don't know if that means the Colts cause afterall they've got the worst run defense in the league, yet they're still 10-2.

This game means a whole lot more to the Cowboys than it does to the Saints.....'cause the Cowboys are playing from behind.

I never questioned anyone on this forum about being a fan, afterall you are on the forum.

I know my team has a chance to beat anyone on any given Sunday. I just said that I wish my team would have it's starting line-up on Sunday. 'Cause if we're gonna be the best we have to play the best...right.(Half of our best are unable to practice because of nagging injuries) I thought you all would understand that coming off last season with your injuries, I guess I was wrong then.

Hollis Thomas is a great DT. At the beginning I thought this would be bad for our team, then I read that he had the support of the organization(Benson would drop him like a hot potatoe if he didn't believe him) I believe that it was a possibility that there could have been a false positive. My mother and sister take that same combination of meds and those results come up all the time. I think it was all a problem because there may have been a problem with the prescription. Atleast he'll be fresh for the playoffs.

For the record I never meant to disrepect anyone on this board If I did, I apologize. I love my team just as much as you love yours. If some Saints fans come off as obnoxious its because we are happy to finally have a Coach and a team that never gives up.

I got this idea from a post by Big Dog, when he speculated the NFC Championship game might very well be held in Dallas, since its quite possible the Bears will drop their playoff game. When I think about it, IF we can get the first round bye and homefield for our first game, I would give us very good odds. I STILL don't think the Bears are balanced enough to get deep into the playoffs. I'm thinking right now, if i had to make a bet, I would bet the NFC Championship is held in Dallas, and if so, I like our chances...

If you had really watched any games the Cowboys played with Bledsoe as their starter then you would know Bledsoe played prominently in the Cowboys' losses this year. I really believe if Romo had started a couple of games earlier then this discussion of the #2 or #3 seed wouldn't even be a concern.

seriously, Lovie would be a giant sized buffoon if he let lil' rex wing the ball around in the playoffs. I think they're letting rex do it now in hopes that he will improve but come playoff time all that crap will be ripped out of the playbook... either that or Griese will be behind center.

If Griese is behind center, that team becomes more of a force. A lot of people are down on Griese but he's the perfect QB Chicago needs at the moment. I just hope they wait to make the change until next season.

That's not right. Chicago won't play in the wildcard round so it would be a loss in the divisional game. The next game is the NFC Championship game. The NFL does not use a bracket system, playoff matchups are determined based on seeding week-to-week. So if Dallas is the #2 seed and Chicago is out, they will host the championship game.

Glad the NFL does it that way. Rewards the number 1 seed by giving them the "easiest" route to the SuperBowl. Makes the regular season even more relevant.

Whomever wins this game between us will have the tiebreaker. Conference records won't mean anything between Dallas and the Saints. Lose this week and your conference record being better than Dallas' means nothing if we end up with the same record. Unless maybe if we end up in a 3-way tie at the end with Seattle. Then and only then would the Saints' better conference record mean anything.
