I was overjoyed when Philly signed him because I knew he'd wreck their team.

Owens is poised to do the same to the Cowboys. The COWBOYS! Our team needs to be above this kind of crap! When I see that blue star I think of tradition, hard work, class, toughness, America and apple pie. I don't think of reprehensible, unrepentant, unsalvageable wrecks of humanity like Tuh-RELL Owens.

I hope JJ and BP realize this.

I think they do,they just cut Key. The same guy who did the same thing Owen's did,but Key did it first.

I was thinking we really needed another Don't Sign TO thread.

Thanks.

How about a separate forum so both sides can waste even more bandwidth not changing any else's mind about Owens?:laugh2:

What are you talking about? Key hasnt been a problem for us at all, he shows up to play, and he puts up the numbers we need him to put up. TO will do the same thing, he knows if he does the same thing here or anywhere else, his career will be through. I dont care what the guy's like, he gets results on the field. He wont be near as much of a distraction here, BP wont let it happen.

The difference between Key's antics and TO's antics is the difference between throwing a bullet and shooting it out of a gun.

Well that would be pretty stupid of them. With Owens we leapfrog all 3 teams, atleast for this year.

I understand that they think he will explode, but I'm banking on him trying to be a nice guy atleast for his 1-2 years in dallas (assuming we get him)

TO will make the cowboys a BETTER team. Doubt the NFC east wants that to happen

TO coming here will actually HELP the Boys immediately and in the long run.

Here's how it goes.

Year 1 - He competes and is ecstatic to be a Cowboy. BP has him under his protective wing and everything goes great. We win the SB and everyone is overjoyed. YEEHAAH!

Year 2 - BP is still here and TO is beginning to want more money because he thinks he's God and deserves it for bringing a SB to Dallas. BP is able to manage him and keep it a non-issue for the year, because he's God. We make the playoffs and lose in the SB to a revamped Oakland Raider team lead by Brady Quinn. Not great, but okay.

Year 3 - BP leaves and tells Jerry that he's going. Jerry looks for a replacement and begins to look at Zimmer and Sparano and then immediately realizes he needs a real coach to manage TO throughout the rest of his contract. So he chooses TO's highschool coach based upon TOs dem...I mean recommendation and all is great in Cowboy land.

...and that's how TO will help us. Makes sense right?

The difference between Key's talent and TO's talent is the difference between a pellet gun and a nuclear warhead.

Only if you believe that TO actually can respect Parcells, I don't think TO knows what the word respect means to begin with. Bill has flat out told Key to shut up and Key backs off when Bill tells that to TO does he take it or does he throw a fit? TO has to prove himself as a changed man and until he does I have a lot of doubts about him.

DD101,

I was being sarcastic. I don't think Jesus himself would command TOs respect.

But that's just me.

TO's a great player. but leapfrogging the other 3 teams in the division? he's good, but he's not jesus.

one thing to consider is that the giants and skins already have the personell in place to defend TO.

i, for one, would like to see TO in dallas.

edit- wow- 2 jesus shout outs in a row? what are the odds?

The thing about TO is that in his FIRST year, he helped guide the Eagles to the SB! It was in his 2nd year that problems arose(actually just after the SB).

My point is, if TO would accept a ONE YEAR, incentive laden contract with an option for possibley two more years then I'm all for it. Let's face it, there's not another WR in the game as explosive and game changing as TO! Also, last time I checked the Boys didn't even make the playoffs the past two seasons and haven't WON a playoff game in nearly 10 years!

I'd say with Tuna so close to retiring, it's TIME to take a chance. After all, those gambles with Haley and Deion worked ou pretty good.

i'll agree that the giants dont necessarily have the personnel. they should have had the personnel, but their players havent been that good.

but the skins do. say what you want about springs- the skins love him. taylor doesnt suck either.
