i understand but the rankings do not matter. Its about matchups. The giants matchup extremely well and that is by design. they have already shown they can stop our running game. We are much better than we were in week 1, zeke is a different player but at the same time there defense is playing at a higher level also.

Plus they have the advantage once again of being the underdog. Everytime we get in this situation the giants get to sit back and be the underdog and the ny papers have already started their Dallas isn't really that good and we are better stuff.

Its just like 07. Like I said maybe this is the year they win the division and we end up the 5 and go back up there and beat them.

I really want this team to get the bye. Having the games at our stadium would be huge this year. I am not too excited about trying to stop the atlanta or detroit passing game in a do or die situation.
I agree looking at the schedule the Giants pose the most demanding game for this offense. Whatever the ranking state the NFC east games do not conform to hoyle and those will be where we will show where this team is headed into the playoffs. I feel confident we are the Playoffs worst draw for any team this year.

The Gmen just play well enough to win close games against average teams. Just not impressed.

The Reskins are probably a little better than the Gmen.

The Eagles migh be the best of thr second place teams.

I'm concerned about the Giants. Even during the glory days of the early 90's when we had a truly dominant team the Cowboys still lost 3 or 4 games during the regular season. Teams are more closely matched in today's NFL. We only have 1 loss largely due to some clutch play by our rookies, but things can change quickly. I just hope the team continues to play well and we close the season out on a strong note.

Bold games are home games.

Giants schedule:

Bears
Browns
Steelers
Cowboys
Lions

Eagles
Commanders

Commanders Schedule

Packers
Cowboys
Cardinals
Eagles
Panthers
Bears
Giants

Eagles Schedule

Seattle
Green Bay
Cincinnati
Washington
Baltimore
New York.
Dallas

I see the Giants losing at least 2 more games if not 3- with their lack of running game, it will catch up with them because Eli is SO prone to mistakes

Commanders at least 3 - Packers, Cardinals and Panthers are tough not to mention NFC East games

Eagles 3 as well - Seattle, Green Bay and NFC East.

I just don't see any of them with more than 11 wins - We just have to take care of business like we have been - go 2-1 in the conference again and 3-1 outside and then they would have another loss to play with but I don't think they will.

I think it comes down to the Giants and Cowboys. I see Wash. and Philly losing this week. Commanders were not that impressive against the Vikes, and GB can still put up some points and Philly plays Seattle in Seattle.
Not real worried about Philly at this point. They are already 0-3 in division play and 3-4 in conference play (all of their losses are conference losses) which puts them in a very nasty spot to even have a chance at a WC. They are looking up at the other NFC East teams...way up.

I have been trying to tell people this for a month. The giants had a stretch of 5 weeks without a road game and the road game they do play november 27th is at cleveland. When they beat the rams they set themselves up for a great finish.

They are going to kill the bears and the browns. Then they will play a desperate steelers team like we did. Hopefully the steelers pull it out, at worst the giants will be 8-4 when we roll in there but I imagine they are 9-3 and our whole season rests on beating them in ny.

or we could get 2007 in reverse. They beat us twice and we end up the five seed and have to go back up there and beat them in the third game.

The team that wins the east will have to have at least 12 wins
Didn't you think they'd be 1-5? And now you're simply repeating the process in the face of overwhelming contrary evidence.

Did anyone take the bet?

BTW, Dak has been great.
But this team wins 7 games with any of the QBs they trotted out there last year.
People forget, they lost a ton of one score games and even some in OT.
Adding Zeke with the improved defense would have put them over the top in many of those.

Zak just makes it much better still....so they already have 8 with 7 left!

No. They were all hot air.

I don't want a run away. I want this to go down to the end. Keep the pressure on the team and keep rolling. I don't want them going into the post season thinking they've won it all already.

Fight, fight, fight.

I thought we would be 1-5 with the only win being SF and if Romo didn't return at Philly I thought we would go 1-7

I'm not repeating anything. I just think the Giants are very good.

Dallas is balling out but they still need at least 3-4 wins to get a playoff spot.

It's been a great year and I'm hoping for a strong finish!! We are in position to do so. I have to admit, I never saw this coming but I'm loving every second of it.

Also, imagine this team in last years dismal NFCEast. We'd have already had the division locked up at 8-1. Haha
I know I know, it's just fun to think about.

The Giants are 6-3, but they're the worst team in the division. They really dont do anything special.

Their defense does an even weaker job than ours of getting pressure. Eli is feast or phantom as always...usually in the same game and they have no running game whatsoever.

And despite their record, they're still -2 in point differential.

Ramen Noodle hair and Landon Collins are the only ones playing great football for them right now.

You can see why people would disregard what you've been saying for a month though right? I mean today is basically concern troll central around here but my point is these are the same people who thought they'd be one of the worst teams in the league when they were predicted to win the division all offseason.

Philly won't lose to GB at home. They are dominating teams at home and GB kind of stinks right now. They'll lose to Seattle, one of the NFCE games at home and then either Baltimore or Cincy on the road.

STOP OUR RUNNING GAME?? LOL. Really, they proved that? You want to make a wager on if they stop our running game in NY? You name the wager and odds and Ill take it.

they did it in week 1 and they are the only ones to do it. Zeke was not zeke yet and we had some problems in the passing game that day so I imagine it will be a much different game.

Well if you think it will be a different ball game in game two you shouldnt use it as an example about why they are a bad matchup. They arent a bad matchup. We will beat the Giants by 14+ points in NY.

Looking at the east I think the big challenge will be the Giants but by the same token the way Eli throws ints I think it will catch up to him and NY.
We have seen seasons play out like this for the giants. I will not count on those ints catching up with them until they are eliminated.

Nor would I but it really comes down to Eli if he continues to throw the ints as he is now I just think it will come back to bite them. In those past SB he was not throwing them as often as he has been of late
