NFCCG: Cardinals-Panthers Thread

I'm not saying anything against Cam at all.
When he came into the league I thought he would be flash in the pan.
He proved me and a lot of folks wrong.
He is the real deal as a player and a person, however I still feel race enters in with some haters. (Sadly).

I hear ya. Maybe so.

I see it as arrogance that he can back up.... That bothers people.
It's players complaining cause he scored on them. Then stop him lol

His arrogance reminds me of our beloved 90s Cowboys. I love it!

Alright guys. I'm out of here.

AZ is just playing stupid and l just can't watch a team that flexes as much as Car.

I'd love to see Braxton Miller on this team for plays just like Ginn just ran. Was that a jet sweep? I didn't really see it

Do people realize that the Patriots OL is severely depleted and have been playing musical chairs all season? That's not to discredit Denver's D but what you saw today was more due to the fact that the Patriots had a 2012 Cowboys OL the last month.

That's true but Brady has been the best in the history of the league at succeeding in those situations and, again, Denver's D made him look pedestrian at best.

The Cardinals nor the Seahawks have had very good O lines this season either. Not horrible but certainly not good. Panthers D has looked very good and will present serious challenges but Denver's D is going to keep it interesting.

Ginn has finally arrived, always thought of him as a mega-bust....

Late round, big school safety makes a play, imagine that.....

Lmao. Been saying the same thing for years.

There a few guys (Sharper, Bethea) etc. that come from small schools. But I'm tired of the AOA's, J.J. Wilcox, Jeff Heath, Lynn Scott. Alan Ball's of the world.

If we're going to wait until the late rounds, give me the big school guys, captains, multiple year starters.

Scheme. Scheme. Scheme.

Reminds me of Harper across from Irvin. Run 3 plays. Slant, Slant and Go and a Go.

Kid has terrible hands, but they basically say "Hey. Run tosses, end arounds and run as fast as you can deep!" Works like it did back at Ohio State. Kid is pure speed.

I can't see how Peyton is somehow going to beat these guys. He might be a pile of dust once the game is over.

Simple. Peyton is not the reason the Broncos were 12-4 and headed to the Super Bowl.

Defense.

If Roby doesn't strip the ball last week, they lose to Pittsburgh. It's a combination of Manning not losing the game, scoring 15-20 points and them shutting the opposing O down.

Not every coach knows how to coach speed. It's one of the most frustrating things to observe.

Manning wasn't the problem last week (his receivers brought their stone hands) and he looked like a different QB this week (even ran for an 11 yard 1st down). The dude is on a mission. That doesn't conclude that he wins it all but his back is against the wall (as is Ware's and Miller's). He knows this is his best, last shot. You can never count those type of guys out.

you are kidding right? a great D vs a MVP.an aging superstar with one last chance to win another Sb.its going to be great.
No I'm not kidding. Carolina's defense is way better than NE's, and Denver had a hard time scoring against NE.

Also, Newton is a bad matchup because, unlike Brady, he can break containment and run and run and run.

No counting Manning out. He is a legend and will do whatever it takes to go out like Stahan and Bettis.

Just stating, that if he goes out on top, it likely won't be because Manning went 35-40, 450 Yards, 4 TD's etc. He will manage the game and do what's needed to win. Nothing wrong with that.

Better start just tossing it up to Fitz and making him outjump the secondary.

Who thinks the Cards will make a comeback? The Panthers have been known for nearly blowing big leads.

Wade has the athletes on his team to spy on Cam to make sure he doesnt beat them with his feet,i expect a close game.
