NFCE Remaining Schedule

My interest in the topic is pretty much exhausted, but I keep attempting... obviously, unsuccessfully... to remind you of the fact that the front office does not play the games, and that when players and coaches jobs are on the line, they are naturally motivated to show-up and attempt to win games. That's just the way it is. What do they care what the FO wants to do as a matter of big picture strategy? Answer: Nothing. They each may or may not be in CLE to ever see beyond this season. It is within their power to win vs. NYG, especially if NYG continues to be as vulnerable as they appeared to be last Sunday.

I grant you that the players probably want to appear to be valuable. I do not believe that the coaches care about winning.....at least at this point. I do not believe they are on the hot seat due to losing. I think that tanking is right in line with what they want to do.

It's highly unlikely that Dallas could go 13-3 and lose the division, and if that happens you would have to tip your hat to the Giants if they won the division. But based on what I have seen, I agree with those that say, there is no way the Giants go 6-0 , and that 6-0 would include a second win over the cowboys, which I don't think will happen. I don't think you can underestimate just how much of a role Dak and Zeke's inexperience played in the first game, and even at that, Dallas still had a the opportunity to win that first game. Some Giant fans are assuming things will stay the same, and many are saying they match up well with Dallas that's why they won the first time. Well I don't know if that is true or not, if memory serves me right, Dallas moved the ball rather easily against the Giants in that first game, they also controlled the time of possession. As we all know it was settling for field goals, and a few key drops that contributed to the final score. So if the Giants are able to duplicate the first game, then maybe they can say they match up well against Dallas. I believe 12-4 wins the NFC East, as for the #1 overall seed, well that might require more wins.
