Nah don’t force it for a guy that’s not actually going to solve our problems.

Who knows what the Jones’ plan is for RB now, but hopefully they have something up their sleeve. An in-state trade for Dameon Pierce would be nice…sure there’s gotta be at least a couple of other trade/cut options as well.
You're right it seems like if they weren't going to go after one of these young guys they may be looking for a trade I mean how many running backs do The Jets need I mean are they about to release they're young stud or something I mean do they not want to pay him I mean they get drafted 2 guys with the same grade and Allen and Isaiah Davis they're back-to-back with their total scores and they already have a starting running back it's just really weird when a team does that..... By the way zeke is not technically signed and it's gonna make me really upset if they give him too much money guaranteed his contract should be veteran minimum and it should be all earned like if he wants it more than the minimum it's gonna be about carries touchdowns yards per carry you know he gets injured it's not guaranteed at all.. I like adding zeke but I don't think we should be depending on him he should get part of the role and I don't mind it running back by committee but you're right maybe they have something up their sleeve but right now I'm more than frustrated the rest of the draft I can live with but the fact that one of those defenders could have been a running back I mean I don't want to call it a reach and maybe I'm wrong because I don't really know anything about those two dudes but that linebacker doesn't seem to be a higher grade than one of the running backs so yeah I mean out of this whole draft in the offseason I've been the voice of reason I've been the guy saying don't worry they'll get a team together but this bothers me that they let a big position of me just slip away both in the 4th and 5th round there were runs on running backs how much does it really cost in the draft to move up say 10 or 12 spots in the same round to go get a targeted running back?

Kendall Milton averged 6.5 yards per carry and 14tds his senior year in limited duty had 800 yards ,why not? He's kind of a naggy Harris type.. We're talking about a fifth round pick that's so far down the board it might as well be a sixth round pick So what are you really wasting?

Khristian Boyd would be a great 1T

Jaylan Ford would start at OLB
I heard that about Boyd they saying he was the best defensive tackle as far as a nose tackle goes that was left on the board for to take today and if no one took him that might be a good risk I guess..

At this point in the draft they aren’t picking next best player at xxx position on the list. They are picking traits/pet cats/ and prospects they could eventually develop.

I was honestly just trying to joke but I do appreciate the sincerity in your response. Good post
I get it I'm as frustrated as everyone else I mean I'm pretty happy about the draft I'm not worried about totally with the offseason like everyone else is but I don't like that one of those defenders like the linebacker in the third round you could have traded out got a fourth round pick and then you could have probably got the same guy late in the third and then pick the fourth round pick and got your pick of running backs that's what frustrates me and I think people around here thinking maybe there is a plan and no it's not just zeke they may be looking to trade I don't know if dalvin cook lights the fires for anyone but there's probably gonna be something happening at running back I don't think that they're gonna really be counting on zeke he is not an every down back anymore and even running back by committee I guess I could see it work with the guys we have but I think we still need a true starting running back to take the bulk of the carries he doesn't need to you know have 1200 yards but he needs to be the guy who can carry it the most...

Not upset with that pick.
who?? A late round corner I've never heard of I mean anybody got the skinny on this guy I mean I was hoping more for a defensive tackle or a running back hell even a wide receiver I didn't think corners even on the radar I mean what are we gonna do with Eric Scott and we got a whole stable of corners and Gilmore most likely coming back I mean it's no guarantee but that's just another head scratcher for me.. All the defensive players I've never heard of that they've taken in this draft.

Good Question.......Maybe we don't want Jerry Rice in the building.

Would feel like we would be opening the door to Shedeur Sanders
I shudder at Shedeur even being bandied about as a future Cowboys QB.
