It is obvious that the whole world thinks the Cowboys management is misdirected and mismanaged in not being abe to sign any free agents, not even a RB, and in not drafting any running back through 5 rounds. No star Cowboy running back was ever drafted after the 4th round. Stars like Calvin Hill, Duane Thomas, Tony Dorsett, Emmitt Smith, Zeke, were all first rounders. Demarco Murray was a 3rd rounder. Marion Barber and Tony Pollard were 4th rounders. Herschel Walker came from the USFL. There is no high level success in the past 54 years of Cowboy history with any running back bell cow other than one drafted in rounds 1-4. How is that for historical importance? How can anyone ignore this?
