The All Pro list is the best they have, so even though it's beneath him, he'll settle for it.Micah Parsons is a generational talent.

Martin plays guard. Nelson is the best guard and the Browns guard is right behind him. Zach is good but he is not as good as those two. Orlando Brown and Wirfs are not better then Tyron.I mean, i don't dispute that....
But how does he get it and Martin not? Martin has been better and played 16 games.
I cant imagine. Its 1999 WarneresqeHas their ever been a mid-season practice squad pickup that made All-Pro that very season?
PFF: All Pro cornerback Trevon Diggs is a liability. ~pushing glasses up nose~
Yeah I’m not understanding the Smith over Martin!Zack snubbed. Didn't even have a holding penalty all season.
The AP's picks is supposedly the most respected and go by standard.Title is misleading. This isn't the official list. Just Nick Shook's list.
Yeah I remember all the people complaining that his back will never heal and he will be crippled. Even with his own teammates injuring him twice he still had a very good season, especially since his cap hit was only 7 million
This isn't official. The dead give a way is Tyron Smith and Trent Williams both play the same position so they cannot be on the same team.
For the official all-pro team the offensive line is each individual position (you can't have 2 left tackles make first team, it would be one LT and one RT).
Two big issues with this
1. All-pro team does offensive line positions seperate so he would never compete with Martin since he plays LG instead of RG
2. Nelson has signficantly regressed since 2019. Last year he struggled in pass protection and had 9 penalties and this year he has a sub 70 PFF score (struggled again in penalties and pressures allow) and has played over 300 less snaps than Martin. He's still a high level player but he's not the best OG in football right now
Yea of course take it on the contract he's on, be he's not to be depended on at allHes cheap and we don’t have a replacement.
Smart thing to do is find a young talent but you play Tyron until his contract is up or he can’t go anymore.
If you get 10 Tyron Smith games a year you take it.
He’s cap friendly as well.

He had a down year last year (played injured) and is having an even more down year this year. He's had a down year in part because of his early season injury but there isn't an OG I'd take over him right now in the entire league.
If Smith does make the official all pro roster (2nd team behind Williams) it will mostly be because the 3 other left tackles that can play at an elite level (Stanley, bakiriati, and armstead) all basically missed the entire year.btw, I don't get Tyron Smith being on there.....given he was injured a few games and upon return has been less than stellar.
I was relieved he got covid that last game, really sucks for him but it kept him rested for this run were about to haveYep.. Don’t depend on him.
It’s not like you can just find quality lineman these days. 10 game and the playoffs is good enough for me.
