Well first off thank you for citing the posts you are referencing. Hopefully we can have an actual adult conversation now that we have some context instead of just hurling insults. Lets look at the posts in question....
I see nothing wrong here. Owning an NFL franchise does indeed require a massive amount of cash to operate. It requires even more when loading up on players like Philly did. This poster fully acknowledges that all NFL owners are rich, and is also correct in suggesting that no all are cash rich. I'd actually go a step further and argue that most NFL owners are not cash rich and utilize other resources to raise money. Philly, Miami, etc. have done so by selling off part of their franchises recently.
Very similar to the previous post....Now there is a valid argument to be had to counter this by looking at the Cowboys annual revenue numbers. So from that perspective they are cash rich to some extent, however we also have to look at the expenses as well, revenue doesn't always tell the full story.
Again we are talking about the difference in wealth vs cash....Jerry is extremely wealthy, but a huge chunk of his wealth is tied into the Cowboys. Until owners sell their franchises they wont see the totality of that valuation in cash. Take that $11M or so that the Cowboys are valued at out of Jerrys net worth and he is probably right in the middle of the ranks, as the Cowboys make up a very high portion of his value. Being one of the "poorer" owners in the league does not make him poor. I do see where I could have worded this a little better, but the general message I stand by. These are basic things that even Jerry himself has acknowledged about how much cash on hand it takes to operate a team like the Cowboys. I'll have to look to see if I can find the video or not, but he spoke about the subject not long ago when asked about contract situations, and referenced Emmitt Smith's holdout and how even before the cap was a thing he had to hold his ground with Emmitt because he isnt able to just write blank checks to people.
IMO the issue continues to go back to you are not distinguishing between "wealth" and "cash rich". None of these posts suggest Jerry is poor, nor do they suggest that Jerry cannot pay his players, but again I do appreciate you actually making an attempt to justify your stance even though I disagree.
