This is obviously a prelude to doing just that.
With that being said-maybe Julius just needs a new home. To start off, injuries slowed his progress a bit, then once he would start getting it going, either faulty game plans(i.e. the Saints in '04), injuries again(the high ankle sprain in '05 against Philly), and ultimately MB3 getting 1/2 of his carries(i.e. after starting out great in '06, stunk it up the remainder) would square 1 him again.
And besides, the Oline concerns me somewhat-we pass block brilliantly, but we're not athletic enough to maul quick defenders in run blocking, and they can't set up screens either, which is Julius' biggest strength.
As for him calling out Parcells last year? Big deal-didn't Chris Canty do the same?
this just sounds like more excuse making for Julius.... We had enough of that after the beginning of this year. Alot of us, including me, gave him the benefit of the doubt when it came to Bill P. holding him back, but it turns out the same every year. He gave no effort in his runs, he ran real lackadaisy, ran into piles when on many numerous occasions there was an opening right next to the pile. He has no vision, cannot juke a turtle, needs an opening the size of the grand canyon to have any decent run, and dare any defender touch him otherwise he goes down.
Thats the truth, and to say otherwise is not being real.
