Dwayne Jarrett WR Jarrett (6-4, 214) ran his 40s in 4.67 and 4.62 seconds, the short shuttle in 4.20 and the three-cone drill in 7.28. He also had a 36½-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot-1 broad jump.

And Keyshawn Johnson just flew past him!

:lmao:

ouch, although his short-shuttle wasn't bad

I guess there isn't that much that seperates Jarrett from Mike Williams afterall

Yeah, he just dropped to the 2nd round. Maybe even lower.

Agreed.

I have nothing against the player, but he is what he is - a slow posession receiver who won't be able to run away from NFL defensive backs.

Then again, if I knew I was getting Keyshawn Johnson for the next 10 years, I'd spend a low 1st on him immediately.

Last 4.62 WR we drafted was named Michael Irvin.

Of course, unlike Michael Irvin, Jarrett has a "questionable work ethic"

Fine, you draft Chariots of Fire.

Not me.

The short shuttle time is really good, the 3 cone time is pretty bad. Anyone know what each drill means in evaluating these guys. I remember it was mentioned one time, but I can't remember the details.

His numbers only confirms my thoughts that Bowe and Meachem should be taken over him.

Mike Williams ran a 4.55 at his workout.

So essentially Dwayne Jarret is 2007 Keyshawn Johnson without the hands.

No thanks.

I'd bet that if Mike went through the same training they go through today he'd run in the 4.4s.

Agreed. Actually, the list is longer than that.
