The big uglies are so ungainly... It's hilarious to watch them run.

Just had a Wade Phillips and Jerry Jones sighting...

Still odd to think of Wade as 'boys coach.

I know what you mean. Everytime I see someone post "WP" for Phillips I and conditioned to think "BP" for Parcells and that it was a typo. Weired!

Just checked out this Samson Satele kid who mentioned the boys in his draft diary posted in the daily zone http://cowboyszone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82267...

During the Mirror drill
Seems to have a low center of gravity. Looked like he's good goot feet. Wasn't beat for the most part. He was up against a much bigger dude and once the guy got his hands on him, he was overpowered.

Joe Thomas...
That's one big dude... Pretty good feet. Leverage was good. It looked like he was just playing with that guy.

Not sure if this is still active, but this is the link I had from last year.

Thanks WG,

I was hoping for a site that had real time results for the players. But I guess I'll have to develop the virtue that is patience and wait for them to be posted on the different sites given that I don't have the NFLN.

There was a draft website last year that tracked the results, but it escapes me at the moment.

NFLN doesn't really show all the workouts. They show some workouts and then they have a bunch of people talking. Mike Mayock, Jamie Dukes, Eisen, and Mooch. Dick Vermeil is on there now. Bunch of back and forth. But it does feed the football fiend.

They're showing the TEs running the 40s now.

greg olson with a 4.47 4o yard dash.
He was being projected as early 2nd or late 1st round. That will move him up the boards.

For instance, Scouts Inc. has him at #30 right now. Todd McShay doesn't have him in round 1. Kiper's Feb. 6th projection leaves him out of round 1. Football's Future has one TE going in round 1, Miller from ASU.

Once the Combines are all over watch how this changes for the Draft prognosticators.

Here's a few measurements and bench press numbers that I saw on NFL Access.

Ted Ginn - 5'11, 178
Dwayne Bowe - 6'2, 221
Robert Meachem - 6'2, 214
Sidney Rice - 6'3, 200...that's smaller than I thought. Significantly smaller...His body was not developed at all. I'd be surprised if he could even bench 225 one time.
Steve Smith - 5'11, 197
Dwayne Jarrett - 6'4, 219
Calvin Johnson - 6'5, 239...And he was freakin ripped. You can tell he's a work out warrior.
Marshawn Lynch - 5'11, 215
Brian Leonard - 6'1, 226
Tony Hunt - 6'1, 233
Michael Bush - 6'1, 243
Lorenzo Booker - 5'10, 191
Adrian Peterson - 6'1, 217...most impressive body speciman after Calvin Johnson.

The top OL and TE bench press numbers are as follows:

Justin Blalock - 40 reps
Manuel Ramirez - 40 reps
Nathan Bennett - 34 reps
Daniel Coats - 34 reps
Dustin Fry - 34 reps
Brondon Frye - 34 reps
Ryan Kalil - 34 reps
Enoka Lucas - 34 reps
Cameron Stephenson - 34 reps
Joe Thomas - 28 reps
Greg Olsen - 23 reps
Tony Ugoh - 32 reps

I knew Ramirez was going to rep out very high, but I actually didn't expect Blalock to equal him. That's very good news for Blalock.

Brady Quinn: 24 bench press reps.

His agent told him not to do it and he said "screw you" to his agent and did it anyway. It looks like the kid has some moxie. 24 reps is pretty tall for a QB.

Today (Sunday) we get to see the pretty boys... (RBs and WRs). The 40 times are going to be fun to watch.

Thanks Hos,,, its Combine time and things were crazy this year leading up to this off-season. Seems odd, but I actually have more on my plate to deal with during this time of year...lol
