NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reports that the Cowboys will ink head coach Jason Garrett to a long-term extension in the offseason and will also promote Kris Richard to full-time defensive coordinator.

Ive never thought Garrett was fit to be a HC and don't like the guy. I see him as more of a pawn than anything else. The real focus of our anger and disgust should be Garrett's enabler; the owner, GM and wannabe coach, Jerry. He's a disgrace. Fish does rot from the head.
