This sounds like rule that is being enforced by the letter of the law as opposed to the spirit of the law. Its is one thing to bring foreign object like golf ball marker onto the field and mark a spot its another to use a blade of grass or turf from that same field to mark a spot.

This is what I was saying during the game thread. It’s ridiculous and most likely has had a greater effect on Maher than anyone truly understands. Here’s to hoping anger can over come this and place the ball where Maher needs it.
