On second thought, I would not. Why play musical players with the 53-man roster?

Not many cb's. I'm interested in the Raiders cuts, they have some depth at CB I believe. They probably wont release Starks or Routt but if so I would be very interested, Starks looked great lately and Routt has speed to burn.

I would think if we were trading with anyone today it would be with one of those teams we have a relationship with. I think those teams are the jets and the raiders.

I dont know what they have of value though.

DOLPHINS CUT SCHLESINGER, HAKIM by Michael David Smith
A couple of former Detroit Lions, fullback Cory Schlesinger and wide receiver Az Hakim, have been cut by the Miami Dolphins.

Edgar Thompson of the Palm Beach Post reports that the feeling in Miami is that cutting Schlesinger was a major surprise. He spent the whole off-season taking snaps with the No. 1 offense, and was expected to be used in coach Cam Cameron's offense in much the same way Cameron used fullback Lorenzo Neal in San Diego.

Cutting Hakim isn't a surprise. He did not catch a pass in the preseason. Undrafted rookie Kerry Reed has apparently won the No. 5 reciever spot.
Thompson reports that 270-pound rookie Reagan Mauia is expected to be the Dolphins' only true fullback, but that tight end Aaron Halterman, who has lined up at fullback in some of Cameron’s formations, might make the team.

It was Parcells fault that Petitti was even in Dallas. I am not into bashing Parcells because he did get Dallas back in the right direction after inheriting an extremely poor team. He just did not do a good job at improving the offensive line in 4 years. It is still a question mark in my opinion. Won't know how good it will be until half way through the season.

He only used a 6th rd pick on petitti and got a years worth of starts out of him. Now most of them were not good, more then a few lousy, but a lot more then you usually get out of a 6th rd pick.

Maybe my PC clock is incorrectly displaying time as 8:48 am Sunday, but I'm sure my time zone is 17 hours ahead of US Central.
