DE/LB Alex Obamese? He had a sack, FF and tipped ball (that was INT'd for a TD) in PS game 1, but haven't seen anything about him since.

Is he still with the team?

Yes, yes we did! It was an ugly 10-6 win. All defense for UTEP. UNM's Rodney Ferguson was a work horse for them, but the bend-don't-break defense for UTEP held the Lobos in check.

The offense was...not great. Running game never really got going save the 36yd TD run by Terrell Jackson (formerly of Oregon). Receivers dropped a lot of passes. Fred Rouse muffed a couple of punt returns but put on some good moves as a receiver.

If the offense can get their stuff together, catch passes and open a few more holes, it could be a helluva squad for Mike Price.

Oh and the kicker nailed 51 yard FG (had a 52ydr sail just right but w/ plenty of leg)

sorry, didn't mean to ramble, just got very excited haha

Petrino is go to prove his 'dedication to the team' to Arthur Blank so he ensures Brian Brohm is drafted at all costs...
