NFL has Dallas Cowboys among lowest projected win totals across NFC teams

Their may be pockets within the various bets where people make money but I would guarantee if you couple all five of those together that vegas comes out on top.

I think 7 to 8 wins feels about right with the combo of new coaches, new scheme, difficult schedule and a few more big question marks on players and positions. That being said there will be more than enough bets going both ways to cover and then they will make all the bets on the playoffs and above when those don't happen to come out on top.

Not trying to be Debbie downer on the Cowboys but realistically the betting is set up for Vegas to win and I'd sure bet on the house
Vegas makes money no matter what. They get the same money bet on either side and they win.

I'll simplify to make this easy:

You bet:

$10 to win $8

The other side bets:

$10 to win $8

So, no matter which side wins, Vegas makes $2 per bet.

Yes, I know it's more complicated than that, but truthfully not much. They don't pay out even money on both sides, that wouldn't make sense for them.

10 wins is the absolute ceiling but realistically I think this is a 8-9 win team
