Yah, that all sounds well and good. The problem is the apologists never admit he does anything wrong.

See Roy, this right here is exactly why you're not even worth interacting with.

Who on this board refuses to admit that Garrett's made mistakes? Even his most die hard supporters acknowledge his errors.

Please, show me these fans who think he's perfect.

Oh, and LOL at your six consecutive posts in this thread. Good lord.

There are some apologists who may agree Garret has made mistakes but some explain them away so it is never an issue with his competence overall as head coach.

I realize some support Garrett and are also critical of his mistakes but we were speaking directly about those who will not confess to Garrett's ineptitude in certain facets because they are afraid admitting such would weaken their argument for support.

I am simply stating perhaps this is not simply a non-critical case of the either/or fallacy, that Garrett has demonstrated both positive and negative attributes even if the measure of the scale is weighed differently proportionally speaking relative to the person evaluating.

I am basically saying the extremes on both sides are problematic.

Not sure who you're talking about without actually naming names. All I can say is that I'm not sure I've ever seen posters who defend Garrett who don't also recognize that he's made some mistakes. Mistakes come with the HC gig in the first place, and when you throw in Jerry and the atmosphere in Dallas, they're obviously inevitable. The questions usually revolve around whether or not there are better coaching options out there given our circumstances.

I agree with you that extremes are problematic, but I don't agree that we've got a situation where the two sides generally line up in extremes.

I am only talking about those who argue from positions of extremes hence my remarks and they are around.

I qualified my comments with the above several times, I do not believe that everyone falls into these extremes, I am arguing there is no need for them accordingly.

There are those who admit Garrett has made mistakes but do not lay the blame for overall average coaching at Garrett's feet ultimately because they like him and hope he can turn it around.

My further comments were that the full body of work has been average overall, nothing to argue about in this respect the reasons will vary upon interpretation and evaluation.

Ive been away for the weekend so I am reviewing and responding. There are several posters that defend Garrett no matter what.

As far as not worth whatever, that is up to you. Put me on ignore if you so choose.

Get back to me when you can arrange an argument logically and engage in a civil debate, ok?

LOL...........like how you just insulted me? No thank you.

You basically just summed up Garrett completely. I couldnt help applauding those accurate words. Yet you still continue to hail him as one of the next "great coaches" as your signature implies.

How can anyone be a die hard supporter of Garrett? That doesnt even make sense. Its chills me to think that there is anyone out there that could still be a die hard supporter. Its almost frightening. Or Jones for that matter.
