NFL Insider: Unexpected move in NFC East coming

Bill Belichick to Washington is my best guess
This would be my guess but If I am Bellicheat I would go to a team with a QB. Unless he is thinking of getting the top qb available using the Commanders 1st round pick.

McNabb unretires to play Eagles last game. The package includes Jeremy Maclin and Brian Westbrook.

If he wants a 3 year rebuild with a rookie QB, why wouldn't he just stay where he is? If another team has to trade a premium pick for him, that's even more of a handcuff.

In Cleveland in the 1990's and with New England the past few years, Belichick has won NOTHING without Tom Brady. He's not even close to .500 without Brady. Hiring him would be a massive mistake in my opinion.
I’m kinda just kidding.

Firing Rivera before the final game wouldn't be a bad move.

Put someone in charge with an incentive to tank the game and preserve the 2nd overall pick. Rivera knows he's gone and will play to win for resume.

Now, would Belichick go to Washington? Not sure. He probably would like to own pick number 2 but I would think he'd hold out for a team with a better situation. Still, not impossible.

Depends on how much he wants to catch Shula. That's really the last medal to hang on his uniform.
Yes. Would take him at least three more seasons with a +.500 team to do it.

She's talking about the Cowboys moving into the division lead. She's just a little slow.

To be completely fair...the Eagles went 100 years without a SB...win it...then fire the man who brought them one after like 1 losing season..
Now that we may have broken the Jimmy Johnson curse, does Philly feel the mantle of the Doug Pederson curse? I mean firing the only SB winning coach?

It might be Belichek to Washington.

But Belichek has never done much without Brady. And Brady isn't in Washington. They will probably draft one of the top guys, but Belichek is not exactly a QB whisperer. Brady was a unicorn. And I don't see any unicorns in the draft
That is NOT going to help Bills legacy at all, not even he will win there and he’s gotta build the entire roster over…mostly

Why would the eagles coach be in trouble? Promoting Matt Patricia was a brilliant move.
