yeah but it would have been over befire halftime if that dude hadnt caused wayne to fumble and return it for TD. the saints were grossly outplayed much of this game.

Remember how we "overachieved" with a bunch of scrubs in '03? The Saints did the same last year, but now they're getting exposed this year. Shanle/Fujita/Simoneau are nothing more than backups(the latter was getting pushed back all day long). Their secondary picked up right where it left off last year. And I wonder if their OL is as good as advertised-RT Stinchcomb just keeps getting abused.

Bad thing about going deep into the playoffs one year with scrub players is that you get FOOLED by them, like we did in '03.

Team Katrina got their butts kicked... they will come back to earth this season. 7-9. Perhaps the checks finally stopped coming?

That's as good a synopsis as you can have.

im glad the Saints got crushed not only cause they are a NFC foe but because i was gettin tired of how overrated they were with most predictin them to make the SB. yes they have a very good offense but their defense is horrible and thats the reason they wont make the SB. also talk to me when Bush becomes a good player because he has except for a few bright spots last year shown to be an average player compared to all the hype he got coming out of USC. im much more concerned about the Bears than the Saints even with Grossman at QB...

yeah, i saw fujita getting beat too. well its one game so lets see, but the defense (especially LB) looked like a concern for them.

I remember when we had scrub DTs and LBs in '03, and then used the same personnel in '04. They played great in '03, but were exposed in '04.

You've heard the saying-"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me".

Does that result mean Sean Payton is a bum coach now? ;)
Absolutely. But he'll be a genius after they beat Tampa and Atlanta. ;)

We've covered this. Sean Payton is outdated. Tony Dungy has given the league the blueprint for beating Payton's vanilla gameplans. Thereby forcing him to inexplicably punt on 4th and 1 in the 4th down by 14, when it as obvious that the Saints weren't going to stop the Colts anymore.

A lot of experts said that the Chargers made a mistake by letting Drew Brees go. I don't think so. Drew is a very good QB, but he turns the ball over too much to get the job done. Last year, the Saints were 1-3 against the AFC North, only beating the Browns. The Chargers were 3-1 against the AFC North, and losing to Baltimore after having the lead in the 4th qtr. and Marty and Co. were afraid to let Rivers throw the ball (that is one of the reasons why Marty is playing golf). Let the games begin!

and even still after all this hate, the fact remains that the saints schooled the 'boys on national TV last year, 42-17. (and WITH the saints kneeling it in the red zone with like 5 minutes left to play). Oh yeah, on top of that the fact that the cowboys haven't beaten the saints since what, 1994? Get Better :lmao2:

If you would like to look in the past you incompetent band wagon fan I would like to remind you that historically the Saints are one of the 5 worst teams in NFL history. How many Super Bowls do you have? Better yet, have you even MADE a Super Bowl? Hopefully your pathetic little city gets tramped by another storm so this pathetic excuse for a franchise moves to a real city with real fans and a winning attitude. :lmao:

While I agree with your analysis of the Saints as a football franchise, historically speaking, the storm comment was flat wrong dude.

With that said, the Saints do have scoreboard on us and that's not debatable. But yes, the Saints are a joke of a franchise and a flash in the pan. I predicted that they would have the biggest drop of all the "hot" teams.
