While I agree with your analysis of the Saints as a football franchise, historically speaking, the storm comment was flat wrong dude.

With that said, the Saints do have scoreboard on us and that's not debatable. But yes, the Saints are a joke of a franchise and a flash in the pan. I predicted that they would have the biggest drop of all the "hot" teams.

I agree-of the 15 years I lived there, I was there when Katrina hit(and moved back here to DFW just last year)-it was pretty painful for awhile(90% of the groceries we got were from FEMA), to say the least. If anything, the city isn't/won't be getting any better.(i.e. Tulane Univ cut their Engineering Dpt when this city BADLY needs Engineers, and the infrastructure is a LONG, LONG way to be decently rebuilt) And to be fair to the residents there, the Saints are the only thing for them the cheer about.

But yeah-the big problem with the Saints throughout their franchise is that they not only can't draft well, but they've never done a good job in evaluating FAs either. Sure-the NFC is weak, but they've done a weaker job in trying to shore up their holes(i.e. didn't upgrade the LB position, got a Zone Corner in David, and ignored D in the draft). As much of a Saints fan I'm too, and I know it was only one game, they're going to free fall this year.

I agree the "storm" comment was uncalled for but I didn't mean it as it sounded. My sole purpose of hoping for a storm would be used to destroy the Superdome and Move the Saints and all the hard working people of NO to better suited communities around the country. Hell, NO can keep Reggie Bush, he isn't even that good anyway.

Their lease runs out in '11-with all the problems that are getting worse there, they will likely be in another city come that time. I hope it's not San Antonio 'cuz it'll eat up our own market.

and even still after all this hate, the fact remains that the saints schooled the 'boys on national TV last year, 42-17. (and WITH the saints kneeling it in the red zone with like 5 minutes left to play). Oh yeah, on top of that the fact that the cowboys haven't beaten the saints since what, 1994? Get Better
