Twitter: NFL may experiment with longer PAT

While I think the 25-yard line is a bit much (the 15 or 20 would make more sense to me), it makes sense for three reasons. First, you make the PAT more interesting and second you increase the number of times the 2-pointer is tried, which is *much* more interesting. Third, it adds an element of strategy.

Drama sure but now you are messing with the history of the league. Think how different the history of this league would be if all PAT's were 42 yard field goals.

Just seems forced, change for the sake of change. I don't see it as necessary.

The game itself presents enough drama and emotion, the league and the tv networks have been doing their best to get in the way of that and create false drama for over a decade or so now.

the game needs to breathe a little and needs the league and the networks to back off.

The way things are right now, we as well not even have PATs. Just award each team 7 points and get off the field.
