NFL Network Dishonesty

I really don't appreciate NFL Network's dishonesty when it comes to scheduled programming. I was anticipating seeing the Cowboys Broncos game yesterday when I came home from a party because the scheduled programming stated that's what the game would be. Instead, if was Football Life. Then, I just was getting ready to watch the Vikings and Raiders game, as scheduled, and the NFL Network's programming was actually Football Life again. I think it's really poor of the NFL to do that. If you're saying you're going to show an NFL game, show the game. If not, don't say you're going to show the game! It's really annoying.

I'm not sure what's going on but I've got Vikings-Raiders and have since the opening kickoff. It is now halftime.

I downloaded the NFL app in order to keep up to date with the stats from preseason, knowing that in the UK I'd have no chance of seeing live games. Nearly 24 hours after the end of the Broncos game, I opened the app and clicked on the boxscore for the game stats. I was confronted with an ad inviting me to sign up for NFL +, a subscription app. I declined. I was then given the opportunity to sign up for NFL gamepass. I declined. I was then offered the chance to visit the NFL online store. I declined. Finally I was then shown a blank page of stats, I scrolled to the bottom where I found the message that game stats were not yet available.

I deleted the app.

Their app is horrible!! I have it, and it's only useful when playing fantasy football. That's the only thing useful about it.

The only reason they probably do that is because they know that there are enough fans that would stay regardless, this meaning they can BS their viewers.

I live in Cleveland, and they didn't show any of the game.

Weird, I live in Concord and they started showing it about 10:30 or so.

But they are in some places, obviously.

What I don't understand is why others are blacked out and get reruns. I could see if you lived in one of the local markets, like Vegas or Minneapolis.

NFL Network has some weird blackout rules for the preseason games that don't match the normal blackout rules.

I live less than 100 miles from Cleveland and they're showing it here. I don't understand it but I'm curious now to do some research.

It says right on their website that local markets are blacked out, as expected. How Cleveland got involved, I don't know.

It was listed as 9 o'clock here and I knew it started at 8 so I searched all the channels and found it Sometimes NFLN is my only choice hope it does not happen during regular season. I dont like streaming games

I set my DVR for 7 PM Pacific time which was the scheduled time for the Cowboys/Broncos on NFL Network. When I got home to watch the game there was just over 9 minutes left in the second quarter. They obviously started the game much sooner than the scheduled time. I was pretty pissed off!

here in the dmv they started showing sal/den at 9:00ish and did split screen or short cutaways to the end of pitt/sea. based on the terrible performance if the offense, i would have preferred theyy showed a seinfeld rerun.
