Yep. We are playing well and there really is nothing to complain about for the networks so they resort to this.

NFL films questioning who is americas team.

From the promo I just saw it looks like everyone except jason witten and deion sanders say its another team.

Boomer Esiason, rod woodson, Ben R, steve mariucci.

Looks like the whole show is going to be a big middle finger to our organization because they have nothing else to complain or take shots at us about.

It also looked to me like the whole show is going to be different people saying Green Bay is really Americas Team and most fans Hate Dallas.

Gee, you think this has anything to do with needing to give the fans a reason to hate Dallas meanwhile pump their Dallas-Green Bay matchup?

Pretty lousy, imo.

WHO IS REALLY AMERICA'S TEAM?

Answering the burning questions swirling around the league, Who Is is a topical show addressing what inquiring minds want to know.

I dunno, theebs... The whole "Who is" is a series they do on anything from Bill Belichick to franchises to whatever. I've never seen one be attacking or negative.

I bet they have some debate and then conclude that we really are America's Team... And for good reason. :)

NFL.com is running a poll right now on . Dallas is up 34% to 28% over the Packers... The Pats are also in the mix but I can;t figure out why they are there. If the Pats sucked, nobody outside of Massachusettes would care. At least Dallas and Green Bay have a national following.

Could be. And your right I havent seen it be negative either, I just have a feeling.

The truth is for me though, I actually dont care. They can call the jaguars americas team for all I care as long as we win.

I just posted this because I just have a feeling it will be this Hate Dallas rhetoric leading into the big Evil cowboys vs Gods son Brett Favre.

and btw I cant wait to see Favre in person next week!!

well in that poll each team has their own fans voting. everything extra goes to the packers. dallas just happens to have more fans than all of the teams that arent on there combined(viewing the website). there is no doubt dallas is the most hated team, though new england may have recently passed them.

Sort of a dumb question.

Nobody would even know the title "America's Team," if the Cowboys didn't exist.

What started as a name given to the team highlight video from 1979 by NFL Films has ballooned into a lightning rod of controversy over the past 28 years.

I guess it's something to talk about.

So do the Steelers, I am surprised that they are currently in last place in the poll.

This has been debated at length.

Adam came up with the best proof in the TV Ratings.

I never care about those titles and quite frankley never liked America's Team and neither did alot of the Landry's Cowboys.

Who will own the Lombardi Trophy? Now that is a great question.

From my experience, nobody outside of Massachusets cares anyways.

It's weird, people from Boston that I know really "love" their teams when they are in the playoffs or doing well, but kinda dissappear when they aren't (except maybe red sox fans). Its kinda like buffalo

Bump, it's on now...

And so far it looks like theebs was right. Looks like they're trying to spread around the "America's Team" label to several teams -- Pitt, NE, GB.

Dallas, Green Bay, Oakland, Pittsburgh, and maybe San Francisco are the only teams that have a national following.
