I'm definitely not saddened by this. When it comes to WR, I'm of the "go big or go home" train of thought...i.e. Fitzgerald or Williams...and since that's not likely, it looks like I'll be waiting a while.

This would be very disapointing news, but I could see the $$$$ being ridiculous if the Raiders are involved......Dallas really needs a WR this off-season and it appears that might not happen.

You're right we need a WR, but we don't need a Javon Walker.

We need a young healthy WR from the draft, not a gimpy vet with an attitude problem.

maybe they'll draft one early or perhaps still swing a trade, if not maybe they just decided to try and get through another yr, hope Glenn can play some and then make a major move next yr for somebody like Roy Williams

and as someone mentioned in another thread, maybe they are higher on some of our young wr's than we think...Miles Austin has great size and speed and seems to be a good route runner, he just needs to work on his concentration...and as poorly as Crayton played vs the NYG, you still cant discount what he did in his first full season of starting either...Stanback is the wildcard

I'd rather them do this than invest the kind of money some of these average joe's/stiffs have been getting...the contracts signed by some of these guys this yr are just ridiculous...gonna be alot of teams wishing they'd have showed more restraint

worst free agent market in yrs, and we're still seeing huge deals...and thats just stupid
