Yet they spent 200 million on defense....:and first rounders on that offensive line.


Our defense got better because our youth on defense got better. Let's don't downplay what they've done.

Not as much as if we had signed Vernon, Jenkins and Harrison

On offense or D.......we just got back to our 2014 level on D......the exact same time we had a dominating running game that chewed up clock and gave us leads........... but that doesn't mean NYG didn't improve tremendously

Not sure it's really an excuse to keep their costs down, per se. It's designed to keep their costs proportional to revenues. Whether or not those costs increase and at what rate depends entirely on league growth, which is pretty sound thinking. Can't imagine the league as a whole would do well if costs were increasing faster than revenues.

I really like the idea of another WR in FA, an Alshon Jeffrey or equivalent player. I can definitely see DE depending on the player but I don't think its as critical as others do.

I think a CB is signed also if they don't draft another one high and/or Carr comes back on a much cheaper contract.

No, we're not. Any money you need can be gotten from restructuring Tyron, Dez, Lee, Witten, Romo, etc.

The cap will keep going up and up. It's just a shell game.
