The issue is they keep adding so many subjective rules. Then you add the focus on player safety—supposedly. So, now they’re making calls based on what they think might have happened instead of what they saw. In other words the refs don’t even trust themselves. And, since there’s absolutely no accountability, they never get better.

Millions are won or lost on every bad call.

1st off they are all high level freemasons
2nd the NFL is classified as entertainment not sport (So you cant sue them . . . its the same as a movie, music concert, soap opera or WWE)
3rd. NHL, MLB. MLS & the NBA are all sport
4th Referees, Kickers and High Paid QB's are all in on it . . . which is why you see more kickers missing, stupid referee calls and lousy QB play more then ever . because of online gambling

One question. If this isn’t a gag and you really believe this, why do you watch? Why do you give the NFL a second of your time? Because if you really believe all of this crap and continue to watch and support it, what does it say about you? While I seriously doubt any of them care about the outcome of the games, I do believe they do a bad job as a whole. Why not get a younger group of refs out there, so many of these guys are 50ish, how about 30ish?

Saw a call vs the Bears that was so wrong it was comical, the TV guys talked about it, HC Nagy almost unloaded on a ref, very bad call.

Something has to be done about holding. I have seen holding calls where the ball carrier is far beyond the point where the called holding happened, it had nothing at all to do with anything. This has to stop.

So many times some kick returner get a good return......FLAG...yep, holding. Forget holding on special teams, go ahead and hold.....really, hell throw a guy down. Hell, wrestle.

Anyone thinking NFL refs care about outcomes of games is wrong, they don't. Do they suck making calls, absolutely!

You bring up.a good point. Why are all the refs 40 or older. Most of the players are in their 20's. Why can't they hire refs closer to the age range and athletic stature as the players. A 45 year old ref trying to run and keep an eye on two guys that run a sub 4.5 forty doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

I started laughing during the Cowboys game on Sunday cuz the refs were talking and one of them had glasses on that looked thicker than my dead grandmother's. My neck got sore looking at his glasses. There's got to be younger, more in shape guys (or women) that can do the job better due to better physical attributes.

Yes. There’s absolutely no good argument for having any guys in their 60’s out there running around. Get young people that want to make a career out of it and have them be accountable for their calls. Make them explain how they could see something so poorly if they make a really bad call.

you mean the one they called low block when the defender was simply trying to get through the block and get to cooks and he did make that tackle..thats not the rule..yes 15 yards and ruined a drive

there are so many bad calls or non calls weekly its just never going to get right until they add a sky judge and another ref on each sideline just watching replay's ie watching the game like us on tv monitor and not having to need for challenge because typically all the fans and broadcasters see the mistakes as they are happening, why can't they? more use of tv playback from broadcasts and less refs on the field , thats the fix.

these refs are overwhelmed and cant keep up in real time.also in real time they cant get the rules sorted out correctly and just wing if. Time constraints and the speed of the game has left this archaic way of calling a game.

Because those 30ish players never miss assignments, drop passes, or run the wrong routes? Officials are the only people on the field fans expect to be perfect.

Players and coaches screw up every game, play after play. Refs miss a call and they either need to be fired or they're up to something nefarious.
